Hi Simon and Mrs M. The third cottage up of the most beautiful scene in Sandsend. Is where my hubby was born. On his grandmas kitchen table! Now his uncle lives in there. And he and his wife ran Sandsend post office for many years (aka marys cafe) 😊
That's beautiful , Mr & Mrs M. On perfect summer days like this, young men would sign up for a life at sea. Then the weather would darken, the waves would swell, a pirate ship would show up on the horizon, and they'd be asking themselves - "why didn't I just settle for a butty at Mary's Sandwich Shop ?" All the best, Mr & Mrs M !
I can see why you and Mrs M rushed past the motor home when I shouted morning to you and Mr M. Sorry I didn’t introduce myself properly, I had a extremely glad dog wanting to get on the beach before Whitby. Keep up the good work and I look forward to the next vlog 👍 Simon
Fabulous weather for once Simon and Mrs M. That Bacon Butty knocked me out. Really loved the beach scenes, I just wanted to collect some shells down there.
Hiya Simon Mrs M, you did say ". Hardy souls "? My bloomin 'earing 😅😊. What has overseas got that can better the view your showing us now 🤔👏👏Timings are everything. What a sight to behold. The divine Mrs M & a bacon roll stuffed fuller than a police woman's handbag 👮😊😊😊❤Don't care about the price. They know how to treat folk, good quality, grand service & don't break the bank😊😊Lovely little spot 😍👍👌I'm sure Hercule Poirot lived in ". Whitehaven Mansions." From the slight backward glance into the ladies to the remark : ". how qute is this." looking at the hidden jems of a garden. Mrs M was in a time warp. The almost girly happeness & innocent laugh at the beautiful space. Magic. What a beltin good vloger you are Simon ❤😊and as always we can't forget your glamorous co-star👩❤️💋👨🌟🌟🌟Tally ho🫏🐺🐕Allan&Family
I thought that bacon bun had so many rashers of bacon sticking out it looked like a crab 🦀 😂 i had covid at the beginning of August too, good to know you're better Mrs M 😊
Lovely spot in Sandsend, CEO of Sainsbury's had a holiday house there. We used to feed the 3 goats 🐐 that lived in the little cabins and the ducks. Need some 💸 for those cottages. Little church at the very end over the bridge.
Where the train is used to be Sandsend railway station. There was a cast iron bridge over the road and the line went along the coastline past the golf club into Whitby west cliff station and onto Scarborough. The other way it went through tunnels and along the coast to Middlesbrough. Sadly Beeching put paid to it in the late 50's early 60's. Such a shame it was closed as a steam journey along it would have been brilliant.
@@simplywhitby5356 You have walked down the cinder track which was the old line from Whitby to Scarborough. The other way from Whitby west cliff it went over viaducts at Whitby golf club whose foundations can still be seen as I believe you can see them across the road at sandsend. The line left sandsend and went through tunnels just after and at kettleness which are still there. Along the coast through Staithes and many more stations all the way to Middlesbrough. A sad loss really.
Hi Simon Are you okay mate? Your huffing and puffing on film now I’ve notice on your last few.. Hope you’re okay, get yourself checked out at the Docs just to be sure.. take care 👍🏻 what a lovely place you live in, Whitby is great, gonna have to try it… You always find the best bacon butties.. Fantastic!!! ☺️
Will try that bacon sarnie next time we're over. Though Mrs W enjoyed one at the Whistlestop this morning (another of your recommendations).Good to chat with you in Baxtergate this afternoon. Back in Northallerton now eating the Bothams haul.
Hey Simon, love the vlogs m8, please go and get your breathing checked out you sound like you are struggling to breath, go get a chest / lung X-ray and an echocardiogram to check your ejection fraction 👍
Went for a local country walk recently and arrived at a bijoue cafe. Price of a bacon butty? Are you seated? £12.00. Why? Its just a lonely butty. None were being consumed ...Just resist this exploitation! Lovely Whitby scenery. Thanks.
I think and has said before that Mrs M is just a pinch older and look like Martha Loise of Norway that is just getting married up in Sogne fjorden in Norway wery soon.
