As a black woman I completely understand how no one recognizes her with a wig on because anything I go from natural to wig or braids or literally any hairstyle everyone act like they don’t know who tf I am. So it makes sense to some degree.

Ohh girl people not only went to the theater to see this. People actually went to her world tour. She was the moment. She was pop culture.

Taylor wrote the song "you'll always find your way back home" that Hannah/Miley sings It's a funny online thing for fans to laugh that a whole town didn't tell her secret & none of the hometown characters or her manager aren't in the last season of the show.

I was in the theater for The Lizzie McGuire Movie, High School Musical 3, and The Hannah Montana Movie. I may have some regrets. Lizzie McGuire was an amazing introduction to my teens. HSM was my High School years. At 18, I loved this movie, but Emily was a better actress in this one, hands down. If you haven't already check out The Last Song. It's one of Miley's better movies.

I watched this in the theater 3 times bc of course I did. Cried every time. Then sang the song Miley sings with Billy Ray with my own father at a talent show. Hannah Montana was my whole personality from 10 to 13 💕🙌🏻 this movie is GOLD

I saw Hannah Montana: The Movie in theaters with my best friend for her 10th birthday. We did the Hoedown Throwdown dance in our aisle as the credits rolled. I was the target demographic for this film. It got me hook, line, & sinker. I also saw HSM 3 in theaters and it was a super fun experience.

i actually have such a fond memory seeing this movie. i was in elementary school and my dad picked me up early for a daddy daughter date and we saw this movie. we were the only ones in the theater lol and after that we always see movies together 🥰 (now scary movies)

Lorddddd growing up in the south my friends and I were Obsessed with this movie. All of us were major Taylor Swift fans in her early albums, and we all still adore Rascal Flatts 😭😭 We’d be dancing along to the Hoedown Throwdown in front of the tv in my dad’s room. We really thought we ate too 😬 Loved this reaction!! Unrelated kinda, but when I was like six I went to my dad crying because all of my blue-eyed blonde-haired friends were going to dress up as Taylor Swift for Halloween and I felt like I shouldn’t be involved because I was the only one who had brown skin and dark brown hair. My dad helped me make an outfit anyways, and my friends all hyped me up about it. I actually really enjoyed where I grew up. The south is so hit or miss, but my hometown was wonderfully open. This movie brings me straight back to my childhood there 😅

This was in the theaters in 2009 and I went with my mom to see it. It was one of the best days of my life. I also was at the 2007 Best of Both Worlds tour. I was the hugest fan of Disney stars and movies back when I was a little kid. For me, this movie, Camp Rock, and all three HSMs were the best.

I was in my “I’m too cool for what’s popular “ phase when the movie came out so I didn’t get into it like a lot of people but I definitely remember The Ho-down throw down being EVERYWHERE lol You have no idea how hard it is to walk in heals on grass! I am from Lexington, Kentucky, and currently live there. Although I was living in Georgia when this movie came out. I was 16 when this movie came out. The blonde hair boy (Lucas Till) lived in the next county over from me and I remember it being a big deal at the time. Didn't know Movies In Depth was from Kentucky.

The hoedown throwdown took over the electric slide at school dances. I was a little older than the target audience so I sort of missed it but I witnessed it 😂 and I was living in Ireland at the time so yea it hit EVERYWHERE.

Both the show and the movie hold up because I can watch either today and I will still find myself laughing and fully entertained

The way I lived and breathed hannah montana as a kid! I watched this film in theatres, I bought the CD and the album when it came out, and I still watch it as a guilty pleasure every now and then, I even still remember the whole dance scene, I just love it so much, Hannah Montana is my whole childhood 🥰

The song "Hoedown" was really popular here in England as well. One of my classes in Secondary school (High school) was dance and we actually performed this song in one of our shows and this was in the year 2015-2016. So about 6-7 yrs after this movie was released and yes it was on at our school disco's as well. Couldn't escape the song!

Designated Villain: Mr. Bradley in the movie is treated as a villain just because he wants to build a mall. *He doesn't even do anything villainous.* The only passibly mean thing he does is taunt the town people they won't be able to stop him building that mall. Which is Stupid Evil, because those people are his potential customers. Miley actually thinks the mall development is a good idea at first before being told down by her grandmother.

I worked at a theater when this movie came out and one of my coworkers was turning 18 when we were gonna watch it to make sure that it was running right and the sound was working so we all just sat in the theater with a birthday cake and presents and made fun of it the whole time. It was great 😂🎉
