"Pizza Delivery" is one of the absolute best _SpongeBob_ episodes. Seeing SpongeBob and Squidward paired up is always fun, (at least in the first few seasons,) SpongeBob's pioneer knowledge, Squidward being instantly done with it and insistence on eating the pizza, and of course the "Krusty Krab Pizza" song are all hilarious and iconic, and seeing Squidward stand up for SpongeBob was pretty heartwarming.

As a pizza delivery girl I can confirm alot of customers have done this type of thing to me claiming they ordered a drink that isn't on the receipt and blame me. Customers can be very irrational and rude at times. Hardest part about the job is constantly having to act nice and professional despite being screamed and cussed at.

No one deserves that kind of treatment. The only fault I can find is that they were pretty late with that delivery. But that’s minor issues considering the guy had the audacity to not pay for it after it was delivered after hours. Deserved that pie to the face.

Fun fact: SpongeBob's pilot episode, or "episode 0" was supposed to be a road trip between SpongeBob and Squidward. Stephen Hillenburg, the show creator, chose to make Help Wanted the pilot. However, the road trip plot wasn't thrown away. Instead it was reused for the Pizza Delivery episode.

The pizza episode was my first Karen experience. Who orders pizza from a burger place that has never delivered food? And the store was closed. Said "I been dying for one of these" where did he hear of a Krusty Krab pizza? And Spongebob is the best employee, he would have written down if he ordered a drink. Mr. Krabs was the one taking the order, he definitely didn't pay attention. (Or he never ordered a drink but thought he did, like the idiot that he is) And after having all the privilege of having the only 2 employees hand deliver the pizza that shouldn't exist, who has the audacity to complain about a drink and yell at them for not doing a good job?

The “Pizza Delivery” episode is definitely one of my favorite episodes. I used to watch it with my brothers, and we quoted all the lines. It’s the best. So, I loved how Timothee and Clariss reacted to the episode.

“Pizza Delivery” is the most memorable season 1 episodes. It has all the elements that really shows what makes SpongeBob great a cartoon in one whole episode! The Squatward and SpongeBob paring really added lot funny gags and iconic moments in one 11 minute episode that you rarely see again. I wish they’re were more Squatward and SpongeBob parings. It’s my favorite episode of season 1.

Fun Fact: The scene where SpongeBob said it got his head all MESSED up, there was an original script where he actually said it got his head all SCREWED up. It was a last minute do-over for obvious reasons. If you look very very closely, his mouth movement actually says "screwed" but it's changed to say "messed" instead

Yup, Pizza Delivery is one of the few times Squidward actually stood up for SpongeBob. Ah yes, nematodes. Also known as roundworms or eelworms. We also guest star Ernest Borgnine and Tim Conway as Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy (who have been co-stars prior to SpongeBob). Also, when you think about it, Bubble Bass, because he cheated, conned the Krusty Krab out of two dollars.

Yay! One of the best episodes of all time! 3:40 Thats actually Korean, specifically South Korean! 3:54 Interesting observation, Clariss! Theres a later episode where Mrs. Puff is replaced by a nasty drill sergeant and he learns to take the test blindfolded so hed be more confident. It of course backfires when Spongebob assumes that he has to do it *every* time hes behind the wheel, but that is a nice theory that hes simply anxious about driving

I think Mermaid Man has PTSD because Man Ray invented a "Death Ray" and Mermaid Man got blasted protecting Barnacle Boy and died but luckily he gopt resusitated but ever since that day Mermaid Man gets triggered everytime someone says the word "EVIL"

Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy are a parody of Batman and Robin and Aquaman and Aqualad. The rings they wear reference the Wonder Twins and the invisible boatmobile parodies Wonder Woman’s invisible plane.

The reason why the words changed for SpongeBob in the gear shift was due to Spingebob’s anxiety. He was becoming so pressured that simple words he could read before suddenly changed and became unrecognizable.
