Friend or Foe is actually pretty good. It’s so interesting to know the backstory of Mr. Krabs and Plankton, on how they used to be friends and how they became mortal enemies.
If Plankton knew who Jim was maybe he would've hired Jim to make Krabby Patties. That way the Chum Bucket will have more customers than the Krusty Krab.
@@skepticcritic4995 Jim probably would tell Plankton why he quit the Krusty Krabs. And Plankton probably would have given Jim a raise. And Plankton would still have lots of money. Since Jim's patties would made more money than SpongeBob patties.
The first episode of season 5 is honestly my favorite of the season. However, you watched the version without the Patchy segments, which like always, are just as funny
I think Mr. Krabs is in his 70s now and does that mean Plankton is old even though he looks good for his age. Question, how old is Plankton and Mr Krabs?
As a night light person I was Always scared of the dark sometimes I would sleep under my blanket even tho my mom would tell me not too yet Imma 19 yr old young adult who still sleeps with a nightlight on
I love how Mr. Krabs inexplicably sounds like an adult suddenly at the end of the flashbacks (mainly Karen's version), even though he's still in grade school. I actually had never noticed that before until watching this 😂
It sort explains why Krabs is so tightfisted with money, coming from poverty. He doesn’t he appreciates money more and doesn’t mind rags or cheap food.
They went to school together so Krabs Plankton are the same age. So in that episode when Plantkon was In love with Mrs. Krabs, she’s old enough to be his mom
1. Krabs had the Krusty Krab in business while Jim was working for him but after he left was when the Krusty Krab started sucking at business. They needed a fry cook. A replacement as good as Jim if not better. That was when SpongeBob arrived in Help Wanted and the Krusty Krab started succeeding again. 2. In Plankton’s Army, Krabs said it had been 25 years, at least at the time, that is, since Plankton attempted to steal the secret Krabby Patty formula. However, in season six, in an episode called Spongicus, Plankton said he waited for 20 years, not 25 years, to have the exact same amount of customers Krabs saw “everyday.” Sometimes, movies and shows screw up on keeping certain details accurate such as this. 3. After Plankton first decided to steal the formula, I can only assume it must have been years before he actually asked Krabs for the formula, not once, but twice in Plankton’s Army. 4. If Jim says, “Watch and learn.” why bother having his security forbid anybody to watch and learn. 5. Just imagine if they told this backstory of Krabs and Plankton either in season one or in the first movie. It would’ve made Plankton a bit more sympathetic though. Wit this episode, it’s clear to realize that Plankton wasn’t just pure evil but also broken. He was both. Not to mention he could’ve truly reconciled wit Krabs as well as actually made friends wit SpongeBob in F.U.N. if only he had not prioritized first either the formula, much less a krabby patty. 6. I’m just finding out myself that Mark Hamill was the moth guy. 7. Mermaidman and Barnacleboy should’ve actually had somewhat like a movie before Ernest Borgnine and Tim Conway died. They have a backstory later on in a further season but if also would’ve been nice to hear backstories from Manray, the Dirty Bubble, and their other villains as well. Would’ve been nice for there to be at least one Mermaidman and Barnacleboy movie before it was too late. 8. Unlike Plankton, who like I said, is both broken and pure evil, it would seem that Manray, the Dirty Bubble, Moth Guy, as well as the Atomic Flounder, the Jumbo Shrimp, and the Sinister Slug were all just influenced into becoming “villains.” It would’ve been nice to know for sure if they were all either broken or pure evil or even both like Plankton was. At least Plankton had his reasons and motives for becoming an actual villain. Just pointing that shit out. I definitely wouldn’t mind making a list of which villain in the entire SpongeBob franchise was either broken, pure evil, influenced, just doing their jobs, or misunderstood, which I’ll do that some other time. 9. Night Light was actually the very first episode where I ever actually saw Mermaidman and Barnacleboy and I was wondering, “What the fuck are two humans doing underwater wit no equipment, especially like Sandy has?” 10. 57 years is a long fucking time to be looking for a moth.
Fear of darkness come from the negative illusions and imagination we create in our mind and assume it as terrifying, as we grow, we overcome that fear so do those imaginations fade over time or learn that they are not real

This is the first time we actually see chum. Prior to this, the joke about Plankton is he spends more time making evil plans than actually selling food. Starting here, the joke is more that he's a lethal chef that can't keep up with Krabs (admittedly still a bad businessman. If you spend this long selling a food noone likes, you either try a different angle or are too stubborn to be a restaurantaur)
Night Light was a planned season 4 episode (has production code 5574-435, the 5574 part which is all for season 4) but it was moved to season 5 due to Best Day Ever taking its place. I’m a bit ehh with the episode. Anyways, I admire Friend or Foe, along with The Original Fry Cook. Season 5 does get somewhat worse over time, but I like how it’s experimental. Aside from season 1 and later season 13, it’s the season with 3 segments in one episode.
You know? Spongebob is the best frycook they need you know what happens when he's not in a krusty krab. I don't understand why two old friends kept being apart I mean I know from Coco Hector and Encano were friends but he killed Hector with a drink and stole his songs that wasn't good. At least now we know what happened that made Mr Krabs and Plankton enemies and how Mr Krab made the kraby patties.
I loved these episodes IMO Timmy and yeah I’m not happy tbh a friend of mine left me because he’s scared of the possible false accusations he’d get by the Spyro community....which his fear is valid it isn’t a very open minded or nice community regardless of ur intentions joking so u gotta be careful. I do hope he keeps his promise he made me. I’ll wait a month and try to convince him to at least not block me on discord since that’s a safe place. And i apologize for Sharing something bugging me. I do not like gate keepers in any community. Also your videos always make me feel better ❤ so I’m glad. I met you and ur community.
