I’m Canadian and grew up in a mining town. When the mines are booming things are great but by the end nothing is left and the mines pretty much destroy and abandon. The greed is evident so I can totally understand why Panama would fight against it. I’m happy that there is resolution. People need to be protected.

My vote is to finish the kitchen ceiling, close up the gap between ceiling and bathroom door and then do railing. I know two of those weren’t on your list but you are just so close to having a polished look. Those three small jobs will give you three finished areas and really transform the place. And it will feel so good to cross off three projects from your list. Then after Christmas you can start tackling a bigger project. Thanks for entertaining me as usual. Keep up the good work.

Don't want to add work to your list, but I think a dimmer light switch in kitchen is a must. Adds nice ambience when you're not actually in the kitchen. You two make great videos!

The A frame house is really coming along lovely. I love the ceiling kitchen lights with the square wood. It's original and unique. So far so good. Out of the 3 projects, I would say, the railings for the upstairs deck. I get nervous when I see you both outside on the deck because it is a bit dangerous where you can accidentally fall. So, my choice would be to see the railings on the deck, then you can also decorate the railings with the beautiful Christmas lights. 👍🏾🥰

Finish the deck railing first. It’s a safety issue as well as it will expand your living space. The kitchen looks awesome!!

Your Kitchen window will look professionally done when you frame the bottom. If the reason why you didn't do it was because you don't have enough wood seal to attach the bottom frame then just add more wood to window seal then you'll have enough for the frame to attach too.😊

Beautiful chandelier and you could also put it on a dimmer! I find that in the kitchen I need several kinds of lights. Bright for over the work top, and accent lights that are not as bright but that light up lower corners. So glad Panama's people stood up for their land and won. Canadian here.

Yes you can have a Christmas tree in the house with cats. I have 8 cats and never, ever have a problem. If you think you might have a problem, anchor the tree in a corner with twine to a small eye bolt in the corner wall.

The kitchen light is lovely and your home is coming along nicely. You two are going a great job with it. Deck first (safety is a must). Dining Room second (not only good for eating, but also for game night and other projects). You already have a sitting area upstairs, so do that last (unless you want to provide a main floor lounge for the puppies). 🙂 I love Freddie's reaction to the cutting board. For so many reasons she's a keeper. I also love the fact that you two are continually doing things for one another out of love. 🦋 I forgot to say that if those three lights are too bright in the kitchen, you can do a couple of things you can put frosted ones in and you can also put a dimmer switch on so you could make it more to your liking or mood.

I get my kids the chocolate calander every year. They love it but we make them wait until Christmas eve and Christmas day to open any gifts.

The RAILING! Then the dining room, you already have a cozy place to sit upstairs. :D

Freddie I can understand how you feel about not having snow for Christmas. With all the global warming we have had brown Christmases the last 4 years, and I live in Maine. Growing up in New Hampshire and moving to Maine as an adult, we have always had snow for Christmas. Yesterday we got a dusting of snow but nothing fun to play with the neighbor's kids with. Not enough yet for a snowman or sledding, or snowball fights. We at least have a touch of white on the grass. I want a blizzard. I love to cozy up in a blanket, with a cup of tea or hot chocolate, my dog and a good book or movie and watch the snow fall

I would do the Railing, then the Dining, since you guys got the Kitchen basically done, that way you can Cook and eat there instead of from a cutting board tray...and then the Living Room. I vote for a dining room. You already have a sofa & coffee table so a beautiful wooden table will be so nice for you to dine together (think candlelight) & have some work space for projects, paperwork etc. Keep it tidy though! I have been wanting to comment on how wonderful it is that you met each other and that Freddie has easily integrated into life at the farm. It’s like she has lived there for years. I love how Freddie easily takes to the camera and helps with the vlogs. Rodrigo, you are doing a wonderful job! (Mistakes and all!). Kitchen lighting must be bright to work at the counter. Maybe change to a dimmer switch later on? Keep up the good work!

Finish the front porch or deck with steps leading into the house so you don’t walk out on the grass and mud. When the weather is bad, then you can do inside projects. That is so sweet Freddie. Our family’s Christmas calendar looks like a chimney and Santa sits at the very top. As the kids slide close one of the days, Santa slowly descends until it’s finally Christmas 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉. I still have it even though my babies are grown up🤗. They still take turns with all the grands to help Santa come down the chimney. Every one gets a piece of chocolate no matter who slides the date in. Win win 🎄🥰
