In this version of territory war, the marbles have swords. Only when a sword touches a block of another colour does it get conquered - marbles will bounce off harmlessly.
Hitting an enemy marble will convert them.
Last colour remaining wins!

Like, SqRt((CurrentArea*(1+Hours)/SqRt(Marbles))/StartingArea) so more area = more speed but more marbles slightly dilutes it, and speed would slowly increase as the game went on.

Another idea would be to give either a slightly larger sword or a 2nd hand knife after 5 captures, since those are being tracked. Maybe doubling the amount needed for each additional upgrade, not that we got to 10 this game.

Arinkott had the most takedowns and never lost a fight. He was by far the best fighter we saw.

a lot of the time the sword would make the square a different colour which would push the enemy marble away so it wouldnt actually kill them

I think it would be fun if a final marble was not its original color (i.e. Alir was the last blue, even though he was originally magenta), that it would turncoat back into its original color since it had no more allegiances.

I like it! I saw someone mention that the attacks often fail because they convert the tiles, causing a marble that _would_ have been hit by the attack to just bounce off. You mentioned either messing with the sizes or delaying the conversion. Delaying the conversion will just result in the opposite problem, where the attacking marble bounces off instead of advancing. Personally, I don't think anything really _needs_ to be changed, but I do have my own idea on how to solve that "problem." Maybe when a marble hits a tile, instead of converting it, it becomes "contested" for a few seconds before being fully converted. A contested tile can be moved through by both the attacker and the defender's colors, and after a couple seconds, converts to whichever color touched it last. This way, marbles that are attacking can "advance" through the tiles they hit, and marbles that are defending don't bounce off of freshly contested tiles.

Solid idea. I have already implemented the delay mechanic (0.1 sec) which works reasonably well, but I didn't consider the very real possibility of the attacker bouncing off. Thanks!

Spoiler alert (if you didn’t watch the video, don’t consider seeing my entire comment.) Arinkott goes insane after seeing yellow, orange, and blue gaining marbles. He wanted to keep his color alive so he has got an idea, he needs to gain marbles so he has to dodge every of sword swingings that they were trying to target for before he gains marbles. And even more shocking is he is the only one that didn’t get color changed which leads to purple winning thanks to Arinkott’s smart thinking.

The map should loop, otherwise yellow, green, cyan, and magenta get an unfair advantage by being surrounded by less marbles.

Nice video! Did you think about disabling collisions between the teammates? It seems that when two or more teammates are close to each other they become much weaker because they hit each other and can't spin very effectively.

No consistency as to when a ball changes color. Watched multiple people balls get stabbed and slashed and never change, yet the last yellow gets barely touched and changes.
