one day I was in full gear, walking a few kilometers to a taxi after a cosplay festival in the city center. on this day, the city center was blocked due to preparations for a military parade, soldiers and military equipment stood on the streets, I passed by, some nodded to me. Nobody even stopped me. it was a bit scary and funny. civilians looked at me like I was a weirdo.

The behavior you are seeing from the people is called "normalcy bias", and it's the reason many people don't flee even when confronted with an active shooter. They think you're weird and they may feel alarmed, but the bias convinces them it's "probably not real", "probably a prank", etc. Luckily for them, on this occasion, it was.

@@Rezinax I'm Italian, we haven't had any shootings or terrorist acts for many years, so there's really no critical situation. Less guns to civilians, no problems. But if people walking around in military gear, with a big bag and a covered face in a city, should activate the police. Document search and control. There is no reason to hide like this, it is technically illegal to hide your face for no reason. The countries are all safe until a crazy terrorist fanatic opens fire on a mob. You do realize with school shootings, public places constantly being bombed or riddled with bullets and people loosing loved ones has caused folks to be more paranoid than ever before I don't thinks that's being sensitive. It's one thing to do this sort of stuff in airsoft matches or dressing up for a cosplay event it's another thing to go into public transportation looking like your going to unload the place.

As a Former Military specialist, Those Outfits are Nearly correct, as most people have said your Arms are to small for people to take you seriously, But when i Was in training there was a kid who had Arms the size of Noodles, and he was the 3rd best in out Unit. Just because you have tiny arms, dont mean you dont have a big Heart.

The outfit does not really shout spec ops to be really honest. And their body structure does give a way the fact that they are just juvenile's in a costume. Id say re do it but with the umbrella corporation san antonio division (youtube video) level of costume quality.
