When my grill was delivered, my wife admonished me for not having someone put it together for me. After watching your video, I can't wait to get home and get started! Using the box as a table and the grease container to hold the nuts and bolts are brilliant ideas, and will save me much grief! Thank you!

Thanks to your video we could avoid a lot of mistakes ... first of all "use the box as platform"! Yep, you're right, the instructions are good (only a single issue caused some discussions), and together with your tips even two "non-technicians" have been able to put all things together, just with a bit more time! Together with my daughter a bit less than 2 hours and the new Weber S320 now is ready on or terrace. Thanks a lot from a Berlin fan :-)

Thank you so much for your video. My husband was in the midst of building the Weber Genesis E310 with my daughter. They came across a problem and were trying to figure it out. I said - let's just look on-line and I found your video. Once they viewed it they realized that they had one part turned the wrong way - that was it! Building it on the box was a top tip and made the job a lot simpler than it could have been. It did take me longer than your 45 minutes but then I was being extra careful not to damage any of the surfaces. It is a truly awesome barbecue, better even than the 15 year old Genesis that it replaced.

Great video - thanks Russel. I watched it first which was good as it gave a quick sense of all the parts and the order - and then on my laptop in the garage while building it. Overall the first time through it takes a bit of time simply because you want to make sure you have the right screws / bolts per step but overall it is not difficult to build as mentioned. Next time out I could build in probably 45 minutes once unboxed. But if you are going to assemble one - please watch - using this video as a guide as well as Russel's tips and suggestions makes it all very easy. Next time you get across the pond to the US Russel I will need to buy you a pint for helping. Regards

Hello I live in Canada.. just picked up the special edition CEP 330. Set my laptop by the area where i was setting up grill and watched each step and then hit pause. I am not very good with putting together things however with your direction I was able to set up the entire grill from start to finish in 1 1/2 hours and didn't have any left over parts. Tested the Grill and all is working great... Thank you !! One of the best assembly videos I have ever watched.

Thanks so much for this incredibly helpful video. My wife and I just put our new Weber Genesis S-330 together with the help of this video.. placed a laptop on a table outside and then played it as we actually constructed the barbecue. Very straightforward, as were the written directions. Actually watched the entire video before even purchasing the grill. Basically put it together in 2.5 hours...If we were doing it again could do it in half that time. Video made all the difference. Grilled a steak on the Genesis tonight and it was great. Thanks again...

Just received my S330 today and this video was spot on. The use of the box was brilliant. Took me right at 1hr from start to finish and that was with applying a little Lock Tite to all bolts and screws. Thanks for the info.

great video...it really did help. I will say, however, you make it look really easy and fast. Mine went together perfectly, however, it took over 2 hours. Definitely, easy enough for someone to do at home, and would NEVER recommend paying for this, as it is do-able, even for novice. Thanks for taking the time.

Thank you for your offer of help in my purchase of the Genesis S330 BBQ One thing I hadn't mentioned though, (and is the only thing preventing me from buying it from you,) is the fact that I live in Ontario, Canada. However, having seen your expertise in assembling BBQ's and seeing the way you explained it so well, I would definitely have been buying from Riverside, had I lived in Gt.Britain. just finished assembling our E-330.. took just over 1 hour. This video did really help, especially using the box as a work bench, as well as installing the doors before the handles. Little things like that really save time and aggravation.

Thank you so much for this tutorial and hints! The one with using box as the assembly table was extremly useful! And yes, you are 100% right that this device is so easy to build together! I havent met yet anything like that so far. Even the screws are just sliding to nuts so easy. This grill worth every cent spend on it so far!

Thanks for the video. After just assembling one myself, I completely agree that it's not difficult. But, even after watching the vid a couple times, it still took me 2 hours. Just organzing, figuring out the instructions and the hardware took a long time. I'm sure if I did it again, it would be closer to an hour, but for first-timers I'd count on two hours.

@21:06 just as a reminder for folks, before you put the doors on, take the blue protection tape off the chrome door trim... trying to do so with the doors on is extremely frustrating.

ust bought the E-330 and looked through your video. very good instructions, and it seems very easy to put together. I have one question though, and it might be a very stupid one. if you are using the 13 kg tank on the outside how do you get the regulator out from inside. It seems on the video to be trapped inside.

I chose this model after much research and had only one reservation: Assembly. Through your demonstration, my questions have been answered and you've ably refuted the very exaggerated complaints about difficulty with construction. This video helped. However, I got stuck on the very first step! The instructions for installing the rear bar, between the two sides, was very vague. Each side piece had 3 screw holes to chose from. Which one? And I ended up putting it in with the bar on the inside of the tabs when it needed to be on the outside. Found that out when the cooking box wouldn't fit in! I think that the silly "picture only" instructions are ridiculous! You need a magnifying glass to see screw holes, etc.

What do you do if you put the locking wheels in the wrong spot because you didn't fully absorb the directions? How do you get them off?

Kevin Johnson If you realized you put the wheels in the wrong spot before you put together the rest of the grill, they come off if you pull with enough force. If the grill is already assembled, you need to have someone help you put it back on the box, but in the opposite way from what was shown in this video so that the wheels are still accessible (the grill and the box should form a plus shape when viewed from above). Then you should be able to pull them off.

I am just wondering why this Grill is not being Assembled on a Table.....also maybe if the Camera was trained behind you we could see exactly what is happening during the Assembly Process. Why would the Gas Line Connector be wrapped in plastic to protect the Base Panel when all the Parts are being laid out on the floor ? I would also Not recommend that the Firebox being handled by a Burner Tube when it is lifted on to the Base for installation. It took 2 hours to Assemble ? It takes me approximately 30 minutes. Add 10 if I Assemble a Genesis with a Side Burner Shelf.
