In this video, my wife and I make pizzas and cook them on the Weber Kettle grill. It's a first for us, and there were definitely some "learning moments"...but that's what backyard BBQ is all about! Good call on the parchment paper. Getting a pizza off a peel is no easy task. Well done!

Great looking pizzas! Just wondered if you used any wood chunks for smoke flavor? Great cook! Could definitely hear the crunch. Yummy

Thanks Jay! You know, I hadn't realized I forgot to mention wood until I saw your comment! Yes...I buried 3 small chunks of apple wood in the coals. Appreciate you stopping by.

I think your infrared thermometer is off by like 150 degrees. If it was about 500 degrees the parchment would've burned completely. Fahrenheit 451 is the ignition point of paper, parchment is no different.

Also experiment with scattering the stone with polenta (rather than the parchment paper) like the Italian Pizza Ovens do to give a better result.
