The non-historicity of Muhammad is likely the reason why Islam is so protective of his image and character. Because he isn’t real, no one can be allowed to even suggest that he didn’t exist, which would lead to the whole farce come crashing down.

I think I'm confused, but I'm not sure. I guess a major question is...how correct is Guilaume in his translation (what Deutsch to English...is that what Jay means?) Of course, then, what matters is...Wustenfeld correct in what he compiled to eventually be translated? How about the dead sea scrolls? I presumed those are written in Aramaic, & Greek which have been subject to scientific scrutiny and being translated in English and found its content compared to the standard bible was not corrupted.

That has beginnings since the death of the prophet and you have people living far and wide who are carrying those histories and narratives and events in their families. Thry have found a scroll called the Birmingham scroll that mentions Mohammed in a battle they know happened, so now there IS proof Mohammed existed. How I earnestly wish that there is now an ORIGINAL ARAMAIC GOSPEL because I am dying inside to read it. I hope there is a translation in English. It's hard to read it in its original form in Aramaic. I don't know that language. I think Aramaic is much harder to read than Arabic. I believe that this Gospel is a book of spiritual guidance from God. Unlike the 4 make-believe gospels, their contents are purely biographies of Prophet jESUs (pbuh) but with a huge hole in the accounts of his life covering the primetime of his age. From what museum or library can we find the original ARAMAIC GOSPEL? Is there any original manuscript for it? It’s hypothesized that Jesus spoke both Aramaic and Common Greek. Those living under the Roman Empire were pushed to learn their language as well as Common Greek. The New Testament is in Greek. You can find it and read it. I suggest starting from the beginning and learning how it was all compiled and reading the writings of these documents from those around the time as well as reviews by scholars who give input and more chronological and contextual background. Then when you read it in Greek you will understand it better.

It is because of politics. Zionism has been taught in the west since early 1900s.
