I am a non religious musician and I just want to thank you for letting us into your rehearsal space and see the process to your amazing performances. Incredible to be able to learn from this type of content!
Don't worry... these guys are also non-religious musicians... who have a personal relationship with Jesus... all good bro... it's pure music channel for all musicians... love your comment...❤❤❤❤
Thank you for your professionalism its a beautiful thing watching a band brother musicians. Hopefully one day God will connect me with a band. That doesn't mind perfection in rehearsal. Thanks again
I really love the co-ordination between the musician. You could also see the respect and trust from the other musicians have for the Band leader. It's takes maturity and discipline from the fellow musician To do that. Kudos to you guys, I enjoyed and learnt a lot from this session, hope to watch more.
I sometimes want to see Mike's hands so I can see how he voices his chords and runs. Such an excellent pianist. He and Kermit are 2 of my favorites. The bass player makes you want to play with him. The drummer gives you just what the song needs. No complaining, just good playing with musical understanding. I wonder if Michael knows my frat brother Eric Willis? He is in the Dallas area too.
Preciate you man of God🙌🏾 Your videos open up a whole new world of inspiration to folkes like me that are truly musically challenged. I am learning this sound thing and have little experience behind the board, trying to improve the sound quality at a few churches here on the west side of Chicago, with phenomenal music ministries, and your videos have inspired me to learn more and more. You and the rest of the team make it look real easy, even though I know it comes from years of learning and sacrifice. Keep on doing what you're doing bro so that we can pass down blessings like this to the next generation. God Bless🙏🏾
Love you all guys❤. Some of us are aspiring musical directors. So getting to see how musical geniuses joined together in preparation for a beautiful set of music work is so inspirational worship 🙌
still using ravenscroft? piano sounds amazing, just wondering what specs you have on the mac that keep that from clipping or hanging when pushing the sound, playing aggressive?
CRACKS ME UP how at 26:50 he jokes about MINNEAN-APOLIS. Where IS that!? I lived there 49 years and people that had lived there for some years would pronounce it the same way. It’s the MINI- appo-lus sound. Nevertheless, I love how you worship all gels to make a joyful noise REGARDLESS of city!!
Great content! Can anyone share how to get the cues (ie: cues that say intro, verse, chorus, etc.) in the click track to come through the headphones only without going into the house with the rest of the stems?
The easiest way to do it is to have your track/stems on one channel and click and cues on another channel. Pan your click and cues hard left and track hard right. Then use an interface or stereo aux cable give sound man the left and right outputs. Then mute the click in the house mix
@stephenroberts9645 what daw and interface are you using. For example, I use a focusrite Scarlett 18i20. I there are 10 line outs on the interface. Also I use Ableton for playback/Daw. I assign the click and cues to output 1/2. Output 1/2 goes to the mixer and are assigned only to the bands in ears. Depending on how you run your stems… you can assign the rest of the tracks to other outputs. Ex. Keys|Organ|Aux keys to Output 3/4. Loops - Output 5/6 Guitars tracks: 7/8 Bass Tracks: Output 9. And BGVs to Output 10. That way the sound engineer can mix everything separately. However, the stems are running to our in ears collectively. Hope that makes sense.
