My opinion / Rules … (1) always wear socks (exception beach wedding), (2) never wear trainers / sneakers with a suit, and (3) never wear white to a wedding (there is a multitude of light, summer, beach colors one can wear other than white).

All for expressing uniqueness but Trainers and t shirts paired with a suit is a style disaster. Might as well go in jeans. At least that would look more cohesive.
