Seriously, at 21:58 when you ask the groom 'How do you feel?' and he gives you that epic line! If I ask most grooms that, they'll just say 'good'. What a great natural reaction from Phil there.

I ve watched many many videos and everyone comes up on you with hundreds of lenses and gear that just stressed me out.... and then I see you, easily, with couple of things, and you just make it look perfect, easy going, fine.. who does not need the best of the best and 30 types of lenses.. I really love checking your stuff, it did help me to build my confidence.

Kraig i have to honestly say this bro ! I have never seen anyone move with a tripod monopod slider and the whole kit that fast at any wedding or event seriously ! you are so fast and quick to judge shots and your framing is just killer. +Wedding Film School +Kraig Adams

I love these Kraig, thanks for sharing them. I have one request (not a critique), maybe add some random commentary if doable. There were times during the video where I was saying to myself, what are his thoughts for certain shots, or when/how to get things done. I know that's a lot of work, but if possible, I'd like it.

You get 2 angles of shots so quickly. Fantastic. Only negative was the "EXIT" sign during 1st kiss. You shoot a lot of clips of less than 3 seconds. That makes for a lot of editing. You and the photographer worked well together. I have had photographers that think their job is priority, and keep walking in my shots. Thanks for the behind the scenes.

why do a lot of photographers walk or jump in front of filmmakers cameras.... we don't do it to them.... it happens here in the UK too.... aaaggghhh !!!! so frustrating. like your work Kraig.
@iwzcriwz1

could say the same about videographers, getting in the way of shots, leaving tripods and monopods lying around, having big mic packs showing on the bride and groom. you could argue this all day long

My partners are photographers and although they try not to get into the shot it's difficult to train them! If we are honest there is no need for a photographer to pass in front of a camera that you are using. In this case she only had to move a metre and a half to avoid potentially ruining the filmmaker's shot.
@davesfilmingservices4377
@davesfilmingservices4377 8 лет назад
Agreed. Unfortunately many photographers don't understand filmmaking and this is where the problem lies.... Yes we need to educate them.

This is amazing content thank you so much for making these. Just one suggestion, for the times when you show the actual shot on the top left corner, could you letter box them? I notice your crop marks on the camera which is obviously how your framing things. But to see the crop marks on the reference shot also would be a great help to visualize the final framing.

Dang, at 34:10 for the "first look" you were tricked for sound. You took off the lav thinking that was it. This happens to me all the time. I always have a second tascam with XLR shotgun on my camera cage always rolling non-stop throughout the day just like situations like this. At least you go the 2nd camera rolling.
