Admirable, loving Father, to two sweet boys. I admire You for including them in the wedding ceremony. Congratulations to You and your Bride, wishing you eternal happiness.
Prince Joachim is my mind's picture of that Cinderella's "Prince Charming" childhood fantasy..he truly represents that to me. He's a very handsome, beautiful man! Just gorgeous!!!
It appears that he is concerned for his boys about how they feel about their Dad marrying another woman. He doesn't want them to be hurt or upset about it. I love that.
Its lovely to see men getting emotional on their wedding day. It should be normal but for some, they hold it in to more 'manly'. These Danish men are real men to show their emotions. Lovely!
Thanks for pointing that out. I've discovered they're in fact 1/8 Czech, 1/8 Austrian, 1/8 British, 1/8 Chinese, 1/4 French and 1/4 Danish! (although the 1/4 Danish may in fact be 1/8 Danish and 1/8 Swedish) Quite an interesting mix.
Princess Marie cleverly concluded "why marry one Prince of Denmark when you can "marry" three Princes of Denmark. An elegant and intimate ceremony befitting a regal Parisian beauty.
estella241 Prince Joachim married for love to both his wives?! Then what happened to his first marriage? Love died or the usual excuse that she wasn't the right one after all? Pitiful and shameful excuses.
I agree with you. Still I don't understand what went wrong with his 1st marriage to Alexandra. Regarding to the rules, any divorced man or woman, commoner or royal, can not marry again at church! Damn royals! Think they're gods on earth, so they can do whatever they want!? Are we back to the Tudors, and to King Henry viii?!
@@rutejack You seem to fail to recognize that this is Denmark, not Britain. Church of England- rules do not apply to Church of Denmark. in Denmark you can indeed marry again in a church if you are divorced, if the priest agrees. Commoners can - and of course royals can, too. However this wedding was a lot smaller than his first marriage, and this time it was not in Copenhagen. What went wrong in his first marriage? - Well Alexandra cheated on him with the man, she later married - and she is now divorced a second time.
