Lydia, this has to be one of my fav vlogs of yours. You are proof that a girl can have many sides to her, one can be a fabulous princess that dresses in high fashion AND also have chickens in the backyard and embrace your inner farmer. I can't tell you how much I love this because it's how many of us feel. Please, more of your garden and chicken adventures. We love it. Your backyard is a dream!🥰 (And yes, to answer your question, in the US we scramble our eggs in a pan, not the saucepan. I would never!!! haha) 😄

Always a fry pan for eggs…US lady here. What makes the difference in consistency is whether you whip/whisk up the eggs in a bowl before pouring them in a pan (fluffy version) or you crack the eggs directly into the pan and scramble them that way, those tend to be the more chunky version. Your hair is looking absolutely beautiful by the way. I think it’s the prettiest I have ever seen it.

Le Cordon Bleu graduate here, you can use a pot to scramble your eggs there’s nothing wrong with that. Both of you seem to like a really soft scramble so a pot/ deep saucepan is fine, if you need to do high volume for a family breakfast you can even make them in a double boiler if you like. It’s a low and slow method of cooking. The only reason I wouldn’t use a pot/ deep saucepan is if you wanted a hard scrambled egg, which is typically a hard and fast cooking method and requires a larger working surface. But the moral of the story is: there’s nothing wrong with using a pot to make yourself scrambled eggs!

Lydia, in case you don't know this yet, chickens love to eat weeds and grass clippings, as well as leaves from the garden, and those really improve the quality of the eggs as well. Then if you compost their poo, you can put that back into the garden after about 6 months to fertilize your plants. It's natures' best recycling program!

Fellow Brit here who scrambles her eggs in a....frying pan! That's the way to do it and how any cook/chef will in a professional kitchen. A frying pan has a greater surface area so the egg cooks more evenly over the heat. I cook mine in butter usually, sometimes with a little ghee which makes them so sublime! Love the chickens!

I call my eggs a “scomlette”. Melt butter in the frying pan, crack eggs straight in, salt & pepper, then gently break the yolks and gradually stir it in figure of 8s. So you get a little more fluff than a full ribbony omelette. Sounds weird seeing written out. But it works.

Seeing you having a proper dialog with yourself while doing your makeup just prooved my theory. Owning aminals does this to you. You learn to vocalise your thoughts more often. Lydia you are one of the few vloggers honest about using botox... and yours is beautifully done!!! Many others ignore questions about it and just talk about skin care but to get the look they have, it is a combination of great skin care and good botox. By them not being honest can make people not believe them about how good the skin care products they advertise are . But you're honesty shows us that your skincare items are awesome. You can cook eggs in a pan just whisk them before hand in a mug add seasoning and pour into the pan with previously melted butter, keep on a low heat and cook gently stirring and scrambling…low heat is important…perfect eggs, do not overcook as they go hard. A non stick pan is best and easy to clean.

For those of us who aren't as beautiful as Lydia, when using Skin+Me rather than rub it into your fingers, dot it around the face and then rub in. It absorbs immediately so to get the benefit it's better to dot otherwise you loose some product by rubbing. X

I was married in June and we had a black tie event with the wearing of white encouraged. It was wild the comments I received about being upstaged disrespectful etc there Is absolutely no way to upstage a bride unless you wear the same gown. My bridal party all wore stunning shades of white gowns and each one looked incredible! It's so silly!
