This a 'version' of a handfasting and as is stated in the video there are many versions that originate from many cultures so the wording and the way in which the handfasting is done can vary greatly. This is only one example of how a celebrant might conduct it.

sparkdragonz your ignorant and you should keep quiet if you don't know the truth. Traditionally it is a celtic tradition for engagement. It is merely a commitment ceremony and has nothing to do with wicken or druidic, they have only recently adopted the traditional celtic engagement ceremony. So take some time to do a little research before you spread falsities.
