I typically plant several dill plants, also several basil plants for the same reason: you just need to harvest a lot at a time! Given your dill proclivity, you probably should plant a whole garden bed of just dill!
I’ve grown dill indoors with my AeroGarden. I don’t know how to grow it in soil though. I really want to grow a master chef’s herb garden though. Would you want to do a video on that?
The dill I planted in April did VERY well. Until it bolted and went to seed. I asked the nursery, and they said it likes cool sun but it's been too hot to try again.

I'm going through a lot personally right now, and this was SUCH a welcome surprise. Oh, how we've missed you. But also, wings are one of my favorite foods! It's like a special little treat to make me feel better. And Frank's is my favorite hot sauce! A real treat.
I was about to gasp out of fear of lack of dill, but I obviously underestimated Alison's dedication. Hail to more dill flavored dishes! Also, definitely put leftover coffee ground as fertiliser for your plants! (probably known by everyone, but still leaving it here)

Kenji said in a vid that bigger tomatoes have to be picked early before transport to ensure they don't go mush, and that you have a better chance of getting a tastier fresh tomato off season if you buy smaller ones that don't need to be picked as early.
We were taught that trick with scallions in culinary school in the 80’s/90’s!!!! Along with making a rose out of a tomato and a carrot!!! So retro!!😂😂😂😂

Avid gardener based in socal here. Dill is pretty easy to grow. Use an organic fertilizer like 462 all purpose from down to earth and don't water too much and you're good. Like basil, dill likes to be trimmed. The more you trim the more it'll grow. It also doesn't like the cold at all.
Very successfully made your wings and salad for dinner. Your advice on low and slow grilling helped a lot to create tasty wings and dill really punches up the salad.
The scallion technique is often used in Chinese dish to top on steamed fish. As only shredded scallions and julienned peppers are allowed on steamed fish
Allison, sauces were versatile and amazing! Wings excellent. We cut out the pre-seasoning in the bowel the second time we executed the recipe. The bottled sauces have enough salt.
Love that you shouted out the lactose intolerant folks….I mean, my dairy allergy is so bad that using lactose free milk will cause me to spend a fortnight on the toilet, so I am unfortunately unable to make your delicious dressing situation- but I appreciate you looking out for us.
So, I find Louisiana hot sauce to be my favorite. I like and have Valentina. Haven’t thought of combining. Will try. However, Franks isn’t my favorite. There was an off flavor when I used it? It made an impact for me in that, I won’t purchase it again. Lol. I like the grill method best as well! Yum!! Love your salads!
I made these wings for my husband this weekend. We used our Traeger at 325 for 34-45 minutes. The smoke of the Traeger added another interesting element. My husband is a big “garlic hot heat” fan, so he sprinkled garlic powder on sauced-up wings and gave wings an A+. If anyone has another suggestion to add garlic kick to wings - let me know!

Yay googley eye dill making a cameo! This is interesting because many cooks love wings in the oven vs grilled cause it's easier to get right heat....but it's summer love to use the barbeque
