Season 2 should be darker. I hope we get to see more of vampires and those faceless guys. I think principal weems could be alive. Lurch from episode 1 has white eyes and the lurch shown in the final episode has pitch black eyes. That could be the stalker or principal weems. Im also thinking that those faceless guys in Nevermore is the shapeshifters.
I hope they give Jenna more say over the writing. She seems to have a good grasp of Wednesday's character. And I think most people would love to see a darker Wednesday, morally questionable and everything, rather than more focus on friendships, relationships, etc. like the writers propose.
definitely want a darker Wednesday. It’s what makes her character so unique and interesting in many iterations of Wednesday, and I don’t want Wednesday to turn into one of the many stories about the protagonist being an amazing hero after discovering the world is great. I feel like we have enough of those.
DEFINITELY. while the show is alright I felt like she was a bit off character. like, is this the same girl who was at "that very special age where girls only think about homicide"? she was shocked, mad and upset that her father could be a murderer. and the ambiguous dark morality for the addams was always the funniest thing about them.
I disagree. I really like seeing little sparks of emotions in Wednesdays character, and I hope she continues to grow closer to people while maintaining her dark personality
I don't really want to see Wednesday to heavily in a romantic role,to me she's fine how she is now a lil warmth with a lot of chill..but she did say she was evolving so idk..ide love to see a story where she ends up back at her own house just to see what sort of set design they come up with,but doubt that'll happen..but anyway be looking forward to more seasons for sure.
i have a really crazy theory!! in the end of season 1, lurch(the driver) picked up wednesday instead of her family. and if you realized, in the first episode lurch has white eyes but in the end he has really pitched black eyes. idk but he’s really suspicious OR that could be principal weems and she’s taking wednesday elsewhere.
There was definitely some unusual emphasis on him and I wasn’t sure why. It focused on him for just a bit too long considering everything else going on. that’s really interesting.
Gwendolyn is not dead, of course they need season 2 shocking twist. Pretty sure she's not dead. They dont even show Gwendolyn funeral and that's another strong theory that she's not dead.

In my opinion, after rewatching season 1 about 11 times- and yes I'm being serious, I have no life and I'm obsessed. Wednesday Addams is a very complex character, she sees the world through black and white with no shades of gray at all. She never really showed any signs of actually liking Xavier and with Tyler she never really did either, every time they hung out it was because she needed to leave/needed info/thing or somebody else got them set up or something. But some characters that actually got her to feel emotion are 1. Uncle Fester 2. Thing 3. Eugene 4. Enid Now thing and fester are family so that'd be weird if they were shipped but Eugene and End are very plausible options. But enough about shipping you guys probably want to hear theories on season 2. Now I believe Tyler is going to come back as shown in the last few moments in the show, but I believe that Laurel isn't- she served her purpose (resurrecting joseph crackstone) so he will need a new master, I believe that the stalker will be Tyler's new master. So the stalker hasn't been introduced yet OR the stalker is going to be a plot twist villain, and there are a few options. There's Ajax, Faceless kids, the janitor guy, or another Gates family member somehow alive. Ajax could be the stalker because he’s a nightshade so he has some special privileges, he's dating Enid so he can get close to Wednesday without it being weird, and because he seems like the type of guy to be a secret mastermind who plays dumb and acts clueless. (like tyler did) It could be the faceless kids because we don't know much about them. And the Janitor guy was proposed by Jenna is reasonable. And the last one is maybe a Gates family member is somehow still alive, like maybe Ansel’s wife or a cousin or something. Anyways that's all I have :)
I'm disappointed that there is so little buzz about Eugene. He & Enid are the only 2 people Wednesday has bonded with to any degree, so they must play some role in the next season(s).

Honestly i agree with jenna, i wanna see a darker story.... i wanna see wednesday maybe go through the trauma of loosing weems and having the first boy she thought she could be romantic with being a horrific killing machine. I think tyler will be back but in a different way, obviously the hyde story will stay but with laural no longer part of it as i think he will gain a more nefarious master rather than someone who wanted to follow in her fathers footsteps. I think season 2 will have wednedsay get darker, maybe have her deal with friendships and have her own personality clash with the others and cause her to loose them as friends again but this time her having to earn them back rather than just having them come back; or on the flip side, it could have her and xavier getting to a nice platonic more sibling like friendship and have Enid and wednesday maybe have a little thing - maybe for enid as a rebound from ajax or just as she comes to terms with who she is.... all the conversion stuff seems to be a hint and a sign rather than just a throwaway moment of actual wants for werewolf conversion help honestly id be fine with whatever follows s1 because being made by tim burton and with the themes they used, i doubt season 2 is going to be underwhelming and i feel its going to give a lot of theories answers and inclusion even in small parts or subtle hints
Why are people forcefully shipping Wednesday and Enid together??? Can't love between two friends just be friendship? Plus Enid is with Ajax and she really likes him. They're cute together. So with due respect to the LGBTQIA community, people should just chill and stop shipping Wednesday and Enid.
the main i hope i have for the show is that the romance STAYS a subplot (although i’d prefer if there was none at all), if it becomes too much of a main part of the story, i think i’d personally be disappointed. idk i think it just defeats a lot of wednesdays character but maybe that’s just me. i do like that she’s warming up to friendship but the romance felt rushed? idk how to explain it
I really hope that the stalker is Yoko. She is a character that in not very known for us. Plus, she is friends with Enid and may have heard something about Wednesday that made her stalk her. But, this is just a theory.😊
Maybe someone can explain the stalker angle at the end properly. Can't understand how Wednesday is given a phone as a present privately from Xavier and literally within a couple hours as she's being driven home the stalker already has her number and is sending pics.

The stalker snapped the picture of Wednesday receiving the phone from Xavier. The only person who knew her number then was Xavier. Whoever the stalker is they most likely asked Xavier for her number. The two pictures were then sent to Wednesday by the stalker. Along with the I'm watching you and knife to the head GIF

The new phone for Wednesday is interesting - who is paying for the bill? You have to be 18 to buy a SIM card in the US, and it's established that Xavier is 16 or 17, therefore under age. So, it is unlikely that Xavier organised the phone himself, and likely that either the phone belonged to someone else, or someone who is older than Xavier (his parents or older siblings) bought it at his request. My gut instinct tells me that Xavier is also a Hyde, and was ALSO controlled by Thornhill, in order to get close to Wednesday. That's why there's a psychic link between him and Tyler. I also strongly believe that Thornhill is NOT dead, and certainly not in custody (i.e. sheriff Galpin is also involved).
I feel like the show will either get darker or something will happen between Enid and Wednesday, but hopefully both because I would love to see something with Wenclair and the show get a little darker and more mysterious.

Just to put this out there as one possible thought of the stalker... I have seen movies that do this awkward time-frame switching thing some times... I had the idea that Tyler could possibly be the stalker... You see Wednesdays car drive by the armor truck, then Tyler changing... What if the time frame is not the same exactly for both views. What if he changed before passing her car, but it hadn't quite reached the point of the truck out of control yet, or he is driving it after removing the prison guards/driver. And he sent the message. Maybe he planned a way to get rid of his master to be free. Am I the only one to think of this?
If Wednesday and Enid will have relationship I will stop watching bcoz I like them as friends. Let them show the value of friendship. Let Enid be with Ajax and Wednesday with Xavier. It will be a good one
nah, even jenna said she wants platonic friendship with the boys and be romantic with enid, and every single cast member wants it too, and most fans, they've only met for a month so they're not fully bffs and there's so many hints they're more than friends
As someone who’s an avid fan of Animated Series (which recently have become darker in their respective second seasons), I personally like the idea of Season Two being darker with Wednesday going into darker parts of herself and becoming an antihero. (I think that would actually be refreshing to see, because I find most Antihero characters are unlikable even though they’re relatable. As a character, Wednesday is actually a perfect blend of likeable and relatable already. So, maybe if Jenna and the writers could compromise, we might be able to get a good mix of Wednesday becoming more likeable AND more of an Antihero.) Perhaps this could be explored with Enid as well, given that she was able to wolf out at the end of Season One. (Although, I would actually prefer Enid to continue to use her powers, because it’s clear that gaining this power is seen as positive. I would actually love to see a werewolf who isn’t caught between their humanity or beastly nature.) Finally, I feel like the best way for Weems to come back would be as Wednesday’s new spirit teacher for her Psychic abilities. Goodie Adams essentially died for good when she healed Wednesday, and I think that this would make the most logical sense to keep Weems in the show. This way, Weems can continue to be an example and inspiration to Wednesday.

I would love to see Wednesday character getting so dark that viewers would start sympathising with Thornhill and Tyler. I want to see the horrific impact Tyler's betrayal had on her so it would be perceived as traumatising as witnessing her pet scorpion brutal murder. I want Enid to truly struggle being her friend to the point where it almost causes her her sanity, and Xavier going from being obsessed with her to being terrified by her and becoming a protagonist to the Wednesday antagonist. I want Weems back trying to keep this chaos together (unsuccessfully) and only manage to make it worse every time, so eventually, it would make her question every decision she's ever made in her attempt to protect the school and the outcasts. I would love to see Eugene so desperate for Wednesday's friendship that he would follow her to the dark side, turning from this little innocent boy to the absolute monster just to prove his loyalty to her. Only after that (around season 5 i guess) Wednesday can start having her redemption arc. And if you want lgbt representation idk maybe Xavier and Tyler can get together. I mean they have a history so why not...

I really feel like Wednesday should be dark and keep her values. If it keeps on being about her relationships and she softens (a soft Wednesday. Imagine.) up a bit, it won’t feel like her. It’ll just be like any other teen series. I don’t want her to change, except maybe to become _more_ of what already sets her apart from everyone else right now. And I don’t want Wednesday and Enid to be in a relationship that’s anything other than platonic. I love their friendship, and I feel like platonic relationships are just as important, if not more, than romantic ones at that age, they just don’t get as much emphasis.

The thing I really disliked about season one of Wednesday, was that there was too much of a fokus on Wednesdays romantic relationships. I don't like that, mainly because it seems out of character for her to fokus on romantic relationships. She is a bit of a loner and a goth girl after all. It's fine if she has Enid or Xavier as friends but NOT as romantic interests, that would low-key ruin the show a bit for me ngl. I hope they just stay as friends and try to develop her darkness and her sadism a bit more, also her powers. That's what made me like the show so much. And I'm pretty sure I'm not alone.

The show focuses on relationships. They frame it as such. But there’s more to it. Even if the show is about solving mysteries, the ships and more appropriately the characters have more focus on this than anything. It’s not all about the ship itself, just the love triangle overall.
Of course Principal Weems survived. She will be changed by it but she will be there. I never doubted that but did wonder whether the writers understood her enough.
I don’t understand the obsession of seeing two friends become a couple, specially if they’re gay or lesbian, can two girls just have a strong bond of platonic friendship without turning romantic? If you don’t want them to be a couple and stay as friends, then you should complain about Wednesday and Tyler and Xavier that should be friends too, and stay as friends as they were (Wednesday and Tyler at least) friends for a brief period.

Definitely dont need to make Enid and Wednesday a romantic thing. Even though Tyler is an antagonist i feel he challenges Wednesday and their relationship would grow, doesnt have to be romanticlly. I want to see more of Tyler and his family, Bianca and her mum. I hope the makers think hard on where these relationships go, because it will impact the watchers opinions and the future of the show. I really want it to continue.

There are literally so many other shows and movies with straight characters. There are very few good shows that have decent LGBTQ representation so let them ship who they want to ship. Fr, she can have a healthy relationship with Xavier at the end, I feel like that would be pretty ok, he loves her really much.
