Hi Fanta, Thank you for that question/comment. You're right in the sense that weeds are almost impossible to completely eradicate from a water body once they've entered. The Weed Razers help to cut the weeds, the rakers help to break up the root systems, and both serve to prevent further growth. It's very likely though that weeds will crop up again in the future. So there's no hiding involved :) Shoreline weed removal is more of a maintenance method since 100% eradication would require a bulldozer, several thousand dollars, and would wipe out any existing aquatic plant and wildlife ecosystems.
