Jason Weigandt walks and talks to preview the third round of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship, the Toyota Thunder Valley National in Lakewood, Colorado. This week the storylines speak for themselves, as a crazy race from Hangtown leads the way this weekend. Weege also catches up with Chance Hymas and Dylan Ferrandis, who hope to get podium real estate this weekend.

Funny how the factory guys do nothing but complain about their bikes and setups every week but give someone like Masterpool an opportunity and he loves the bike 😂. Same with Sexton complaining and making excuses about his bike all season now has a good race now not changing a thing but will be back to “searching” once Jett beats him this weekend 😂

Chase is such a natural sportsman that it could be tiddly winks and he would be competitive. it was like tomacs beast mode with webbs tenacity. Haven't seen that since Jeremy McGrath and I loved it!

Jett didnt say he is ok , he said he is banged up with Thigh, shoulder and neck injured , he said he's here he's going to see how it goes and did not do a 35 min Moto midweek , so he doesnt know if the body will hold out.

I was just going to say jett did not say he was ok. And after jett was interviewed, chase came along and said oh jets OK this weekend. What the hell is going on? Are we listening to politics here? Jett said not only his leg felt numb, but his shoulder and neck did not feel very good. A 35 minute moto is not going to play well for him. America's politics has turned rotten lately. Don't tell me, don't tell me it stretched over to motocross.

@MrIke303 I honestly think his 80% is going off of an MX2 bike, and he'll never be able to get that same feeling in AMA. Deegan said it the best on the podium when it came to bike-setup. He said they changed the wrong direction, AND MOVED ON... It's that easy! AND, if you change the bike, isn't that on the rider? If you change something, you ether agreed with that change or blindly agreed with whoever. Ether way, that's on the rider explaining what they want as opposed to what they're feelings. When the gate dropps, it's all on the rider... Unless the motor blows... That's different... LMFFFAAAOOO 🤘

"Points don't matter, this is a battle for momentum."... you need to listen to the entire sentence, or sometimes the entire statement to understand the context of why he said what he said. Sexton could leave with the point lead, but only by 1 point. So, if only the points matter, that would suggest that Sexton would be happy leaving with just the points lead. And that's 💯% false. 👍

I have raced snowmobiles at 8,000 feet of altitude and physically didn't notice much difference. Horsepower, wise, was as about a 10% loss. Not knocking, there is some difference but completely over hyped!

@@PaulRoesner-i7vcolder temperatures offer more air density allowing more air to enter a given space thus pulling in more oxygen in relation to the volume of the chamber being filled.(combustion chamber/lungs) It’s possible one would feel a bit more of a difference, sea level vs. elevation in the warmer months since difference in temperature between the two zones is usually greater in the cooler months.

He did fine moto 1 got the hole shot and just tipped it in a deep rut. Still got 4th that moto and beat kitchen. Kitchen got 2nd in moto 2 though and I think deegan was 8 or 9 th. Tom crashed out of the race early in moto 1. So idk, hard to really judge since Deegan is way faster this year so far and kitchen stepped up as well. Going to be a fun season.

Chases 40-1 was sick no doubt but if you break down the times it’s isn’t overly crazy. Jett and Chase put 41 seconds on Hunter Lawrence in third place in moto2 at round 1. Chase was only about 25seconds down from first at the worst in moto2 at hangtown.

This is why the top riders don’t like talking with media bc they blow things was out of proportion. Just watch Jett will go out in practice hover around 5-10 and weege will start spewing nonsense then Jett will throw a heater last two minutes 1 1/2 seconds faster then the field. Them 1-1 managing all these new fast riders that have been riding on the edge to keep Jett insight. Deegs was feeling no pressure Tom was 4 seconds back. I can promise if Tom did what Deegs did in the first moto we still be hearing about it but it’s Deegs. He is gonna depress a lot of people and Mr 2x champ who never raced supercross lol Like all the other first year supercross guys…. They don’t count lmao
