Our 3 month Viz loves cardboard boxes and corners of the room also :) Your videos have really helped new Vizla owners like ourselves . We look forward to your tips, tricks, and advice. Tyyyyy
OMG. we are planning a trip of 11 hours, thanks for sharing the successful experience with long time travel with V. Any other tips for calm down the dog during 11 hours drive? thx
Seeing Lord Cannon roll in fox poop reminds me of the time when our first Vizsla (Sonia) and our first German Longhair Pointer (Schatzi) found a dead fish to roll in; the smell was horrible.
We have a 7 month vizsla and the way we got him to stop jumping up was by putting baking trays on all the counters/tabletops so that he jumped twice and knocked them off, he was petrified by the noise and completely deterred from jumping! Havent had the trays up for 2 months and not one incident! Hope this helps ☺
I suddenly realised this evening that another instalment of Lord Cannon should have been posted - I was so excited to catch up with you all lol 😀. He does make me laugh. Wishing you all well 🤣🤣😀👍
What? He loves that tunnel! 😆 I tell you what you need for the garden instead of a ball. A remote controlled car. It's fun for both of you. Get a stuffed toy, gut it, fix it on top and hey presto you have a quick rabbit to chase around! 😁
So interesting, even though Leia is almost 5 months and Lord Cannon 6.5 months... she has the same exact issues. Jumping up and now recently waking up earlier when she used to sleep through the night until about 7 am for a little bit there! So we got her a "cave bed" from @snoozerpets and it's highly regarded in the Vizsla community as people with the same issues said it seems to help them sleep better because it's cozy and acts as a burrowing blanket over top. Hoping that helps 🤞
Do you use a scented soap to wash him? He might not like the smell especially super sensitive hunting sniffer on the Vizslas. They want to rub all they can to get the smell off. Maybe try an unscented soap to try to help the wanting to roll all over the ground after? :) enjoy him! He’s so stinking cute!!
We use a special fox poop shampoo, it may have a small scent but he seems to roll in it even if he hasn’t had a shower for a few weeks. He just loves it! 😩🤣🤣🐾
Just catching up with your videos in a backward fashion as usual. Good progress on putting the harness on! Watching your EVERY SINGLE VIDEO makes us feel like we've known you for ages :D It'd be interesting if you guys did a more personal video talking about what you do, how you spend your days, and whether you plan your day around LC or vice versa. Practical question: does he also eat the sticks and actually swallows the content, or spits it out? Ours keeps on stuffing herself with pieces of wood. Just. P.S.,licking empty corners is a thing. Cheers guys!
Yes I must do a daily routine video of what a normal day looks like with him! He will try and eat the sticks but I take them away from him before he can. My day is planned around LC at the moment but I hope as he gets older we can turn that around! 😊🐾
Does he always roll in fox poop after bath? Do you guys use unscented shampoo? I've heard that some dogs, when they get a bath in a scented shampoo can't stand the scent and will do everything to get rid of it. It usually means rolling in poop or animal carcass.
We tried to make the crate the best place in the world, gave him a really nice treat every time he went in there. LC didn’t like it at all to start off with but now he loves going in there for a sleep, in fact it’s the only place that he will really relax. 😊🐾🐾
