Guys, I’m in the same boat as Mike 😂. So I really need some help here boys 🤣. I have 2 questions, I play in a half PPR 10 man league, where we get bonus pts for big plays. Our roster construction belongs in a special ed class, cause for some reason our commish only lets us roster 2 QB’s, 4 RB’s, 4 WR’s, 2 TE’s, and also 2 Def and 2 Kickers.. We start 2 Wr and a flex. So there’s pretty decent guys out there on the waiver wire. Guys like C. Watson, D. Johnson, Jameson Williams, ect. I have Chris Olave, Amari Cooper, Rashee Rice, and Calvin Ridley at WR. CMC, Josh Jacobs, Najee, and Pollard at RB.. now here’s the questions.. I’m HEAVILY debating on potentially dropping Amari Cooper OR Calvin Ridley for Jameson Williams. I could genuinely see Jameo being drafted in the first 4 rounds in next years draft, potentially becoming a high end WR 2 for the Lions, similar to a player like DeVonta Smith or Tee Higgins/Jaylen Waddle. Those kinda guys considering the Lions offense is SO SO SO much better than the Browns or Titans offenses. Am I insane for wanting to do this after week 1? Cause if I don’t pick him up now, I can almost guarantee someone will grab him this week. & My other question is very similar but for the RB position. The 49’ers offense is SO potent, that I genuinely think that even having the backup for the 9’ers may be a better fill in option than a Najee or Pollard play IF CMC is out again this week. Do I drop a Najee Harris or Tony Pollard for a Jordan Mason just to lock down that 49’ers RB spot? Cause I’m heavily debating both. But it kinda sucks cause there’s like 4-5 different moves I should really try to make this week.
& My commish decided to move waivers to Tuesday and 7:00 we have to have our claims in by then. So I have 3 hours to make up my mind and I am literally confused as I possibly could be.
I know tank had a rough season last year. He was a rookie and is still quite young. I think he takes a big step forward this year. But I’m not expecting him to be ETN
The apology tour isn't about last year. It's what was said THIS off season. Huge shout out to that superstar wife from the my guys show that took him in the 1st round.
How they going to skip over the A. LAZARD KING'S 2 TD performance...Lazard>M.Williams and they missed it in their rankings. I ir'd CMC and picked up Lazard which helped me finish 2nd in points on the week.
Once Rogers locks in on a comfortable fit with a receiver, they will get a lot of targets. I’m adding him wherever I can find a loser last round pick to dump.
@@broadwayphotovideome too I was gonna go corley until I seen the starting lineup and realized arod loves lazard and put him in my flex for cmc great coaching my guy
Was thinking the same thing. Looking for an RB2 in a league and this is the first year I'm looking at the wire week 1 and actually questioning if I should drop anyone for who's there
Ettiene's fumble was more an outstanding defensive play than poor ball security. It was a text book punch of the ball that Ettiene had tucked. Not concerned...yet.
@@connortrerotola8640 I don't have him, I went all hero back everywhere. But I'm counting on your type to think exactly that.. Week 1 saps are prime candidates for overreacting
Am I the only one who misses the boom boom kicker segment?!?! We haven't had kickers in our league for 5+ years... yet.. that was by FAR the best segment!!!
This years Puka is Chris Boswell... yeah I said it. You've said it yourselves the Pittsburgh offense is SLIGHTLY better than last year, thats JUST good enough to get near the red zone and allow the kid to have a field day of 40-50+ attempts, I'm calling for an average score of 13.9 pts per week from a kicker ballers...
Won 1 of my leagues by 1.6 points because CMC was off my opponent's roster. My other league i won by 0.2 playing Jordan Mason as the CMC owner. Super happy after last night!!
I drafted Mason in the last round of my draft. They have been waiting to give him a bigger workload. Mitchell was fragile. Mason is called Baby Beast Mode for a reason.
I'm convinced that kickers should be made flex eligible in leagues with kickers. Especially after this week with the multitude of guys hammering multiple 50 yarders. Like how's a kicker any different from a boom/bust WR? Who'd you rather have this past Sunday. Gabe Davis or Brandon Aubrey? Curtis Samuel or Boswell? Hollywood Brown if he had played or Moody? If leagues are gonna have kickers then make it fun
Moody/Mason won me the week in 1 league after Harrison, Olave, and Andrews busted. I lost puka in the second league and 49ers DEF and Breece did exactly what they needed to do. And in the 3rd, my opp didnt bench CMC. Im 1-0 in 3/3 🎉 This is nuts
28:23 in my Megalabowl Team I started with CMC, then late round drafted Zamir White and Javonte Williams....Jason you moving with some words of knowledge here
Im in my first season of an ongoing dynasty league and the team I took over was AWFUL. Didnt have a draft pick for 3 years. But in this offseason I picked up Jordan Mason after Mitchell was injured and I was just able to trade him last night for a 2nd & 3rd rd pick in '25 and a 2nd in '26. I dont really have any starting RBs on my squad even with all the maneuvering Ive done so trading him was tough, but I felt like I needed to take advantage of his value being as high as it is now to get the future value.
Down by three with CMC to go. No problem, Mason is sitting there on waivers. When I go to pick him up, I realize that the commissioner CHANGED the league from open waivers on Sundays and Mondays this year for whatever reason. Know your league settings guys…
Honestly surprised by the take to not drop Brooks but drop Rico. Panthers were abysmal - tough for me to think a rookie coming in week 5 after an ACL tear will be able to do much in a potential time share
Sitting 11 out of 12 on the waiver wire and it isnt FAB, going to go ahead set that 4 am alarm and peep who didn't get picked up so I can scoot on up the ladder. Week 1 is crucial, but so is week 2.
45:33 answer the damn question, Jason! 😂😂😂 I was all happy and joyful because Andy put on the table the exact waiver wire dilemma I have for week 2 (B. Cooks over Diontae), and Jason went on a rant about Bryce young and catchable passes 🤦🏻♂️
I relate to Mike. That was me last year. What sucks most is that no one will trade for injured players. If they do, the offer sucks. You can't drop them either because they could come back next week and be good.
Two questions for anyone willing to provide some perspective: 1. What do you think is the appropriate time for waivers to clear? For context, I’m in a 16-team dynasty league and my co-commish has it set for waivers to clear at midnight. Just about every other league I’ve ever been in has it set to clear at 6am-9am the following morning. His argument is “it’s the end of the day” and setting it for the next morning doesn’t benefit anyone. 2. A different 12-team dynasty league is discussing whether or not to have free agency set on gamedays (Sun, Mon, and Thu) and waivers the rest of the week to help accommodate owners that have last minute players ruled out and allow them to find a proper replacement. This is a league with a 16 spot bench and 10 taxi. I’m of the belief that a player that is at risk of missing time will be known for multiple days, thus creating a sense of strategy that is not uncommon in fantasy. It’s incredibly rare for a startable player to be considered completely healthy then scratched on gameday. Sorry for the info dump just wanted to be thorough! Appreciate any advice!
I have some names to aquire off the waiver wire this week. Alec Pierce wr,IND bucky Irving RB,TB Rashid Shaheed,WR,NO Tyler Lockett,WR,SEA, Chigoziem Okonkwo,TE, CHI
Hot take: You should always prioritize currently startable players over players than need injury to become relevant later (in response to Bigsby v McGlaughlin). Consolidating starting assets will help drive the trade market. If somebody can easily pivot to a FA what incentive do they have to pay up?
You guys should let people know that if their league is not public, the league sync will not work. I purchased the UDK only to find out I couldn't sync my 2 leagues I wanted it for.
How about we stay firm on 23 for Baker. Hawks first this year and next year for Barrass. We take Draper with pick 3, if he wants to go home we only swap him for curtain. (Or have 3 years to build him into our system) Still have two top 25 picks this year and keep 3 (top 30) picks in next year's draft. Which puts us in a place to trade for Warner. We either get some great draftees, or we are in a position to bring curtain home and have a real offer to Sydney for Warner. I'd like Baker but 23 is fair and if we miss out to build our future and be in a position for a legit star to be traded in, that's the priority.
People in my home league drafted back up TEs so I punted and ended up with kmet 😭😭 instincts told me pick up Likely prior to week 1 starting . THANK GOD
Expert opinions needed here guys. In a standard scoring 12-team half-PPR league. Week 1 was good to me (Saquon, Dallas defense, and Moody lol). Mike likes Stafford this week and I’ve got Burrow as my starter. I also have Kupp and know how much you guys like stacks. What do I do??? Love the show, thanks for your help.
My question is how long do you give guys like Drake London and Calvin Ridley before you panic and drop them? Also, if you were one of the genius people who drafted Mason, would you consider trading him or should you just hold him?
I feel your pain Mike, I had Jordan Love, CMC, and Puka!!! Going to be a battle to get back to the top! My opponent had AR, AJ, Evans, and Aubrey! 103-165 L
Fam, I need some help... My RB1 is Pacheco and RB2 is Javonte. My bench RB's are weak early season with high upside (Corum, Allgeir, J. Brooks - on IR). 12 team superflex league. I can't start any of my bench RB's with confidence as my RB2. Waivers for RB sorted by projected week 2 pts = Mattison, J. Hill, T. Chandler, T. Bigsby, B. Irving, and so on. Do I go with Javonte for another week? Or pivot to one of those waiver RB's? Tough.
Mattison could be a good choice. Raiders will be down against the ravens so he’ll be in the game getting some volume. Long term it’d probably be Bigsby or Irvin but nobody knows what’s gonna happen
i doubt they knew for sure who would start rb1 on friday, but with CMC pulling himself out of practice, im guessing Mason was told to prepare as if he would start, that way he would be ready if/when CMC sat out
Jordan Mason is only relevant if you need him for 1 week and believe CMC misses another week. CMC didn't have a setback in recovery, he was just not 100% yet and they chose to be cautious. My guess is CMC is back next week but Mason still gets 10 carries and then it's back to normal in week 3 and Mason becomes irrelevant.
@@The_Notorious_B.D.Cmaybe, maybe not. Even if he is eased back it still kills any touchdown potential Mason has. If CMC was almost ready this week, won't he be almost ready or better next week too? Pick up Dobbins if you need a back and he's available. He and Swift were the most talented backs in their class and when healthy Dobbins has been efficient and good. With this amazing line and Harbaugh at the helm, Dobbins might score 20 points 5 or 6 times this season, and Mason might not even have one more opportunity to.
51:00 Preach boys!!!! I lost Ferg and settled for Parkinson because it's just not worth it... He seems to only blow up during tough matchups when Andrews is avaiable.
