I can totally relate to this video! Spring break seems forever-ago, even though it was just a week ago! Everything that goes on in your classroom, just know it goes on in other classrooms as well. We took our AASA Writing today at our school. No Specials for two days. Some kids behaviors have been really challenging but most kids are doing great. The challenging ones make it extremely difficult for others.

It’s so good to be able to “talk” with other teachers because they get it! I know the feeling of relief you and your students are feeling having that part of the test in the rear-view! We have ours next week and I can’t wait for it to be over! 😁❤️

Lori, Post Spring Break Friend to Friend catch up then test stress = chaos. Kids who want to get the lessons in versus kids who don't want anything to do with the lessons have their way of clashing. I have experienced that when I was an autistic school student occasionally. Well hang in there because the end of the year is just around the corner and imagine the chaos that may happen then. By the way, you look good in your outfits and your flip flops. - Dwight

It’s…a little much, for sure! I’m guessing some of what we are seeing is anxiety over the upcoming tests, and some is “summer fever”. But enough about us teachers… 😂❤️

Don’t get me started with state testing! Idk why we put all these things up in our classroom and encourage students to reference it, but then when it’s time to test we have to take it all down. How does this make sense? In the real world, what do we do when we need an answer? We go to resources to find it!!!!! My opinion, but state testing is just setting our kiddos up to fail. Oh, and then we get compared to schools that are nothing like ours. Seriously!? Ugh!!!!!
