I agree with your philosophy on work! We are finally finished with the school year. That last week felt like eternity but we made it! I packed my classroom and ready to move for next year. Please remind me that moving stinks if the thought comes next year 😂. Have a great summer!

Keep in mind that a lot of students across this nation are feeling the crunch too. Remember, for a lot of kids in this nation, No school means No friends. A full 2 months of summer break turns into being less told what to do but also turns into being reduced to the clique at home.

@@TalesFromtheThirdDegree Well Lori, An optional address exchange maybe in order so that kids can somehow stay in touch with their friends over the summer even when they are physically far apart. But adults have got to find someway of turning from prodding kids the technologies that we have to stay connected where ever we are. This is how devices can help us. It's this magical thing that they can do called email. It upsets me how we like to make devices the problem for children when they can be used or made to help children. When I was a young autistic child going to school everyday technology helped me in my education growing up and today as an autistic adult, technology is what is helping me get back in touch with my school friends. For every bad thing that a device can be user for I will always be able to point to a good thing that a device can be used for but there are people that just want to dwell on the negative side and not look at the positive side of things too. That's what really needs to change especially to keep communities together. - Dwight

Lori, Back when I was a young autistic school student, electrical educational toys at home are what did a lot of educating for me. Technology helped me. It's better off that you did not introduce anything more because your time is almost out and really time is running out on the students to be with their friends. Don't let what you don't get to be the end of the world for you. If your students come out loving you then that's it. You are a success story. - Dwight
