Lori, First, Congratulations on another successful school year and your first year of teaching at your new school. Second, Just like when I graduated out of high school a few decades ago, I am glad that the academics are over but I am sad that I am not with my school friends being the king of the pep rallies anymore. There are those students who are happy that the academics are over and back to living a life of do whatever for a little over a few months but are sad to leave you and their friends and to be reduced to the clique at home for a little over a few months. There are also those students who love education and love school who have the rug pulled out from under them for the next over 2 months having to transition from Mrs. Butler the teacher whom they love so much back to their first "teachers" at home, their parents. Thank you for sharing your teaching experiences and your classroom. I enjoyed Your Color Decorations. With that said, enjoy these next few months of putting Mrs. Butler to rest and just being Lori Butler with her new grandson all day everyday. - Dwight
Thank you, Dwight! It is a hard transition for some, and that is the bitter in "bitter-sweet" for sure. I am SO looking forward to being with my new little nugget this summer, and also to visiting Katie! :)
I am guessing so-I’m tracking if I see a difference in my sleep patterns on my Oura ring. It’s been about a week and a half and I haven’t seen a difference yet! I’ll finish this bottle and see how I feel-I’ll update on the vlog! 😁❤️
