Really love that you realized your truth in your previous nursing job and made the hard decision to switch things up. Thats such a hard thing to do. I recently did the same and left my full time career of graphic design for 10 years. I love animals and realized I needed to pursue that in my life to be fulfilled and live a vital life. I am working on building my own business now 😊

I am glad you brought up it being mental health awareness month. I found your channel during a 2am feeding with my newborn twins. I started to watch youtube videos to help me stay awake. But I quickly feel in love with your channel! I am the same age as you with 2 other babies as well, making me a mom of 4 under 4. I stay at home with them, and man, when it all comes crashing on my shoulders, it's so hard. We've been going through it😅 I will remind myself to do some self care🩷

Madi, I'm so happy you're doing better since your video of when you quit after burning out in NICU. I retired after 40 years in healthcare, being completely burned out as a nurse. Nurses constantly give to our patients and we risk losing everything we have, who and what we are. The countless hundreds of patient deaths are hard to endure, but the betrayal by leadership is what breaks nurses. Good workers quit leadership not jobs.

Our school added Hurst review. I did the 3 day live thst was required and never studied again post graduation. I felt super prepared for nclex. I never studied past graduation and took nclex 1.5 months post graduation and passed in min 85. I'd recommend for sure! Good luck!
