Week Of Family Meals 21/8-27/8 

Haha Lara my mum was the exact same I remember being at the table for what seamed like hours being forced to eat cabbage haha the thought of my mum being forced feed rice has crossed my mind hahaha I wouldn't!! The thing is she won't even try it she looks at what I make pulls a face an says what's that? After a week my eye does start to twitch haha I do love her but it grows tiresome I did it for my father in law to before he passed away he lived with us for 4 years the thing is when he was well he would eat currys ect then as he got sick (dementia) he became fussy but at least he had an excuse he was poorly my mum don't lol :)

Hey as my mum was down I struggled to record if I'm honest she give me funny looks makes me feel well uncomfortable haha but the next time I make my crumble I'll record me making it yea my mum is a fussy eater she won't eat pasta rice the only sause she will eat is gravy wouldnt touch pasta sauce or curry ect it does become tiresome but I had the same with my father in law he live with us for 4 year before he passed away he was the exact same... aww thank you :)

Linda McCartneys sausages are awesome. Not a fan of the quorn ones myself 😊

HelenMarieWright I agree! Linda mcartneys are nice! So are the slimming world ones for Iceland, I only ever use the quorn mince x

I can't stand quorn, but the Linda McCartney ones are good especially the caramelised onion ones.

Hey Sheryl my budget is £400 a month for us 5 where I am with it is always in the description box I budget monthly rather than weekly as we get paid monthly and some weeks you just need more than others and as I include cleaning products and toiletries in my food budget I try and pick up my household stuff and bulk stuff at the beginning of the month then just top up and get sale item fresh produce the weeks that follow I hear you my eldest was diagnosed with ADHD at a young age he surly has come a long way but it's not always been easy and my youngest was a white foods only but with patience and perseverance he is doing really well now it can be so hard and frustrating hun all we can do is our best :)

Never tried the sausages but the chicken nuggets, chicken pieces and mince are my fav xx

😂😂😂 hey Liam unfortunately my husbands job as a police officer dose pay enough that we can afford to shop at the likes of M&S with there dine for 2 for £10 which is no better than a posh ready meal lol I can feed my family of 5 a home cooked meal for a fiver!! 😂 Aldi is definitely more of our budget range we actually really like the food and don't find it disgusting at all guess it's just personal preference :)

Hey Emma thank you Hun na a instant pot is a pressure cooker have you ever seen the old fashioned ones they used back in the day dangerous things had a rep for blowing up well I had one and loved it but you have to be so careful thankfully now you can get electric ones that are safe and adjust the pressure themslef it spends up the cooking time not allowing no steam to escape I'm. Ot the greatest at explaining it sorry Hun :)

Hey Alison I don't know what there made of danny said the taste a lilttle like stuffing I did fry them to start with an them finished them off in onion gravy that's what I normally do with my sausages it's definitely nice to try new things but then I felt awful as my family are sat around the table looking at me like what happened haha 😂 :)

Hey Sarah do you mean for my roast dinner? It's just the Aldi roasting joint it dosent say what cut it is on the pack but I have used brisket before and it still cooks up very tender:)
