I adore pine furniture too, all my living room furniture is pine and like that display table I showed you, chalk painted cream with sanded and varnished tops. Cant beat pine!

Wow. That is crazy about the table! Our glass table broke about 3 months after we bought it. The high wind picked it up and smashed it back down again 😦 My brother in law recycled planks of wood and created a wooden tabletop for us using the old frame of the table. There's another job for Danny to do 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Have a great week Helen 💕

I have 2 round glass tables in my garden and I keep looking at them now expecting them to explode! Im very glad none of you was out there, Pixie included! You looked really lovely on your night out with your husband who also looked lovely! Pine furniture was all in at one time, I like it now as well, I had some old furniture that I've given a makeover to and it looks so good! I used the silk furniture paint in grey which matches the colour scheme in my bedroom! X

Scary about the garden table good job nobody was in the garden at the time. In the foot warmer you could use as a planter to put herbs or yearly flower's in it. 😎

Yes ma'am switching to wood or plastic patio table. Lol sadly they do explode due to things going wrong during the glass making. Speaking of mosaic, years ago I went to shops and yard sales bought beautiful ceramic bowls, plates, glasses, etc. And broke them up and made my own using white cement, the put on a thick clear coat. They are still going 20+yrs now. Gorgeous pine chest. I have a cedar one for my daughter from her grandmother. So many want all "sleek" lines and such, but it doesn't look homey, to me! Well that table is a surprise. I am in Australia, our hottest day this summer gone was 117 f, and my glass table outside withstood that just fine. Must be a tough Aussie table. :)

Those tables had a product recall a few years ago Helen. Thank goodness nobody was hurt. I have a lot of pine furniture too, it’s very homely. X

I’m sure there was a recall on tables from b&m not that long ago doing that am so glad no one was around the table at the time it’s sounds like it’s not heat resistant/safety glass there made from, the ginger shampoo and conditioner is good I am also a fan of the banana shampoo and conditioner but have to stock up when I can as it sells out fast x

Your cake for Danny's birthday looked scrumptious! I was stunned about your garden table. Thank goodness you were not eating or having your BBQ. I love you new chest. The rain here in northern NewJersey is unreal. It is suppose to end tomorrow. So many places are inundated with day after day of rain. It's crazy.

Hi Helen,another lovely blog,I have a foot warmer like the one you showed,mine is Victorian,bought it in Rochester Kent,cut a long story short I tried it out and it stayed warm for ages and when I went to make my bed it rolled out onto my foot and fractured a bone! Now it lives in a cupboard 😁

I love pine furniture.... I had all the solid pine stuff in my living room gave it all away to friends to buy black glass furniture and then less than 6 months later got rid of it all to have to buy all pine furniture again.... waste of money. The black glass looks nice when its clean but is absolutely horrific to clean.... especially with a toddler lol I was literally polishing it 3/4 times a day. Give me pine any day lol

Oh Helen, I hope you took photos and told the company as those tables are clearly dangerous. Even before you said about heat, I saw the brown burn mark on the arm chair and thought "burn from the sun". I would have been terrified, what a shock! I blame the weather on all the pollution and environmental damage. Scientists have been warning us for a good decade or more. I love your storage bench, very nice. I know what you mean about solid pine but I still have two and love them. My mum loved mahogany too, reminds me of her. I'm the same as you re silicone though my skin is getting menopausal, and red, ugh! Sorry about the random comments but I add them as I listen to you speak.You both looked so smart on your way to your do, and Danny so handsome.

You need to see if there is a salvage yard near you. You might find wood and tiles cheaply. You did look glamorous for your evening out and I hope the boys behaved themselves.

Hi Helen, was that black glass on your table? I’ve heard black is the best absorber of heat maybe that’s what happened? Maybe try a clear glass table! Glad no one was hurt. Also I get them shampoos in Savers! Lovely vlog.

Absolutely love your videos :) You looked beautiful for the wedding reception. I don't know if this helps but I heard you mention you don't get on with silicones in skincare, the foundation you put on contains silicones.. so if you're finding new breakouts, just a heads up! I'm the same with needing fragrance/silicone/rubbish free skincare! X

That happened in my son's bedroom he had black glass table we heard a almighty shatter it it just exploded were guessing the son was shining to strong in he's room or the heat from he's tv which smashed as well we found glass for weeks x

Thoses tables shouldn't still be being sold it keeps happening, thank god none of you were near it xxxx

There's loads of tables that have exploded mainly from Asda and Argos. Have a quick google if you haven't already.

I've been using that shampoo for a while now and not gunna lie. I'm not liking it. It makes my hair so dry and lifeless. Hope it works for you though xx
