Today, I want to share the best food for inflammation.
This food is powerful for any type of inflammatory condition, autoimmune disease, or any condition that ends in “itis.”
There is an interesting connection between inflammation in your joints and inflammation in your gut. To get rid of inflammation, we can’t forget about supporting a healthy gut.
Top foods that cause inflammation:
• Grains
• Alcohol
• Sugar
• Junk foods/ultra-processed foods
• Corn
• Soy
• Seed oils
• A1 milk proteins
• Fiber and functional fiber products
• Plant-protein products
Even beans, legumes, and vegetables can contribute to the problem if you have an inflammatory condition. You may need to try the carnivore diet for a little while.
The root cause of inflammation starts in the gut, and it’s called intestinal permeability or leaky gut. Glutamine, an important amino acid for your colon cells, is essential for this situation.
The best food to fight inflammation is beef, which is very high in glutamine. Glutamine greatly supports the gut and is beneficial for inflammatory conditions.
One of the best anti-inflammatory foods for vegans and vegetarians is cabbage. Cabbage, especially red cabbage, is a great source of glutamine.
Other foods rich in glutamine include:
• Sheep or goat cheese
• Kefir
• Eggs
• Fish
• Bone broth

I hate fish since little but I do buy from time to time omega 3 sardine oil capsules. Its said that 1.2gr of these equals to eating 1 fish every day for a week. Just be carefull of which produt you buy as many of these contain heavy metals as the fish it self was not caught in cold clean waters. The solutions of clean or at least 98-99% clean DHA omega 3 oils on the market are really few .

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 🥣 There is one powerful anti-inflammatory food that can help with gut inflammation, autoimmune diseases, and inflammatory conditions ending in "itis". 00:26 🌾 Foods that create inflammation include gluten, grains, alcohol, sugar, junk food, corn, soy, and refined seed oils. 01:48 🥛 A1 milk proteins from conventional dairy can also cause inflammation, while A2 proteins from goat/sheep dairy are safer. 02:31 🥗 Fiber, including from "healthy" plant foods like legumes and veggies, can irritate the colon when you have gut inflammation. 03:54 🥩 Beef contains the amino acid glutamine which helps heal leaky gut by supporting the intestinal cell layer. 06:54 🥬 For vegans, red cabbage is high in glutamine. Other glutamine-rich foods include bone broth, eggs, cheese, and fish. 08:17 📝 To get full access to inflammation healing information, subscribe to the doctor's newsletter. Made with HARPA AI

@rachelchase @rachelchase 3 days ago Hey Doc! I agree with you and I think that what you have to offer is really important. When it comes to beef though, we have to be sure that we understand what needs to change. It’s not that we need to get rid of the beef industry. Is that it needs a complete overhaul. Most of the beef industry is harming these animals and treating them horribly. Have you ever seen one of these places where all these cows are trapped in a tight space and they’re basically just eating their own feces? It’s pretty disgusting. So we need to be clear when we’re talking about these kinds of things and say it needs to be really clean beef from a great source. And in the process we need to change the industry! We can’t just go around telling people to eat beef when you know they’re just gonna go out and buy that crap at the grocery store. It’s full of toxins and poisons. And most people can’t afford to buy the quality beef these days because it’s got to be local grass fed and treated well. Otherwise, our bodies won’t actually get the benefit you’re talking about. So there’s this. Please talk about this fact more, thank you. 2

Zevia makes sugar free sodas sweetened with stevia thus their brand name, so if you crave soda you might want to try that. Dr Zevia is my favorite, root beer, ginger ale, and their caffeine free cola as well. It's not a perfect copy of the sugar free brands but they're pretty close. Their Mt Dew copy was awful although I found their pink grapefruit tasted similar to Mt Dew or maybe like 7 Up, it's kind of trial and error. I'm glad you've come so far and you're getting your daughter involved in healthy eating, good for you!

I found your channel about 8 weeks ago now, the same amount of time I've been doing fasting, and keto diet. I was also diagnosed with MS a year ago (at the hospital), but I am still awaiting to see the MS clinic. At one point, they were confused and not sure what exactly i had (neurologist). Keep in mind that I've had non-stop pain this whole year to the point where i needed help walking. I cut all sugars and carbs (small amount of sugar in the kefir), and fast every day at 18:6. Im telling you, these last 8 weeks have been amazing with hardly any pain left. I've been eating sauerkraut every day as a side as well as kimchi, kefir, and beef a couple of times a week. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Im also taking a B1 vitamin.

I agree. I’ve been doing Keto & fasting for 4 years already. Before doing Keto & fasting, I was following the typical doctor recommendations like avoiding red meat, nuts & beans. I was already doing low carb & I was active but the bloating, gout, plantar fasciitis, dermatitis wouldn’t go away. I started watching your videos & stopped eating grains, highly processed carbs & also stopped using highly processed cooking oils, & then all the inflammation went away. I am trying to share my experience to people that have this problems but us is difficult to change their minds because they were told by everybody including their doctors the wrong information. I want to thank you Dr Berg, for all your informative videos. What gives Keto a bad name is when people do it wrong. When people are not well informed & do dirty Keto, it creates new problems.
