My parents got divorced. My dad‘s first girlfriend was this Dominican girl. Her family’s food was wonderful. I was so mad when they broke up. Cause I made sure I behaved and helped out when I was over there and be respectful. I did my part.

Mofungo is a ball of mashed plantains mixed with pork & other things, sometimes served in a broth or sometimes in a tortilla. All of these Dominican foods are various fried mish-mash.
