We open and take a close look at a broad selection of 1/64 scale diecast cars from brands including: Mini GT, Greenlight, Kyosho Majorette, Peako, M2, Para64, Sparky, BM Creations, Briscale Model.
another bunch of hot looking cars, first car flawed me, gorgoues build, you always have heaps of cars to show, all the best cheers KC Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🤝😎👍✌
A very “cool” selection this week 😁 De Tomaso is pretty, Poprace Singer and BSC Audi are neat, Kyosho set is nice and I like the Majorette Aventador as well.
Peako does some nice work if imperfect. I had shown a diecast Toyota MR2 from the brand a few weeks ago that was really well done. None of the quality issues like on this resin model.
awesome video you are the first RU-vidr I've seen that's been able to figure out the greenlight GMC truck with the Indian motorcycle yet another awesome haul video
Great video, nice cars! Nice find on the Kyosho box. Unfortunate about the Peako, but still looks good as a whole. I recently got one of their tow trucks, overall it's nicely detailed, but with some QC issues.
I was let down by the Peako for the price myself. The Jimny winch is pretty cool. The LMP GTR looks like a batmobile but being seated so far back probably is tough to race since the front corners are so far away.
Yeah, I can easily see that, I was warned the quality might be iffy on their resin models and it proved to be true. Oh well. Visibility in all the modern LMP1 cars is terrible as the front wheel arches are super high relative to the drivers position, the Nissan might actually have better visibility than something like the Porsche 919 because of that.
I think the Era Car is probably better overall but I like both. The opening doors on the BM Creations tend to push in too far so you do have to be careful with that.
I get that resin models can contain more details, but I was never a big fan of them. Even if only static models. Something in my head hasn't matured to the point yet that i can appreciate them and their price. And if I paid that price to see the interior turn out like that red car, i'd be furious as the money i spend is HARD earned. I don't take L's when i spend, and when I do i gets the refunds baby. Lol
It's apparent when you compare two models side-by-side. I have both the Kengfai ($20, diecast) and Motorhelix ($50, resin) versions of the RS7 and the price difference is wildly apparently
No Chance to open the Hood, at the GMC Sonoma, at the newer Greenlight Castings the hood dont open, the Hood are different Liedes to change them, but not to open it. Greetings from Germany. 🙂
when majorette say it's 1:64 its usually not accurate in fact on my French car shelf I have a Schuco 2CV sitting next to the majorette claiming to be 1:64 and it's huge compared to the schuco
I'm pretty sure that Lambo is pretty close if not actually 1/64. I vaguely remember comparing it to the Mini GT Aventador at one point and concluding it looked good.
You ask me, "cool" is much better than "sweet", "sick", "bussin'", "dope" etc. That's probably me showing my age. You could switch to "awesome" now and then if you need to, and "boss" and "bitchin'" will do in a pinch.
Interesting on the Apollo, unfortunately not a car that really appeals to me that much though. Hopefully they come out with some new models at some point.
