Almost all pediatrics medications are dosed in ml/kg or mg/kg. Tylenol is typically 10-15mg/kg for a child 1-12yrs. I would start with 10mg/kg and see if that’s effective for him, but ultimately use your nursing judgement.

Hey Justine! Just a question (although may sound pretty dumb), but since you're from Quebec, does your work require you to document in French + speak it to all interprofessional members and patients, or are you allowed to speak English to them/document in English? Just curious! Much love from a fellow Canadian nurse! :)

Re the Tylenol, if he's 26 lb and the doses start from 24 lb then you can give him a full dose. In Ireland we have calpol (Paracetamol, aka tylenol) and its 2+ months unless your child is already the weight stated on the box. No need to alter the dose

Yes it’s okay. I’m a mom and an RN (like you) and as you said as long as they are in the weight category age isn’t really a factor. Love your videos!!

I work in a grocery store and veggies are usually fairly cheapish. Celery however, this week it's been 1 stock for 2.99 USD and people see the price and take it off their list. For veggies I pay at the store I work at. But for fruits, I go to the 99cents store. I know it sounds weird, but if you go in the AM when the store is opening the have their veggie/fruit section and a box of strawberries $1USD blueberries/strawberries/fruit in packages $1USD. And I really rather get 3 packages of strawberries for $3 than one at my grocery store for 2.50

Hey Justine! Loveee your videos! Just wanted to let you know that if your bf is on the keto diet or if you are, stay away from regular milk! So much carbs! But you probs already knew that (: I recommend Kirkland almond milk or coconut milk at Costco, so much cheaper and delicious 💜 ILY

Adnan A we try to most of the time but of course we have our off days! my boyfriend is more strict than me, i can’t get rid of fuits lol but we very seldom eat pasta/rice/potatoes or things like that! and we try to stay away from processed food as much as possible!

This may seem like a stupid question, but do you know a good amount of french for where you live in Canada? I see some french on your groceries so I didn't know if it was kind of necessary to know some french...lol

I think she lives in Canada, so everything here is both in French and English since those are the national languages!

@@marrissajaipersaud9601 I knew she lived in Canada, but I wasn't sure if where she lived, she would need to know at least a little bit of french to get by in some places. (:
