I couldn’t imagine getting to sleep during the night shift! It’s not allowed what so ever, not that we would ever have time to do that! Lol that’s crazy but good for you, I wish I wish I wish we could do that! I only work 12s and sometimes 16s and never sleep a wink at work while doing so. Lotta caffeine gets me through and it’s just so busy there’s rarely not something to do! Also idk how you guys do paper charting I am grateful that we have Epic! It’s crazy how nursing differs slightly through the world but it’s fascinating! Thanks for the food inspiration! Always love to see what people eat!

kaciecuse It’s not the first time i’ve heard of hospitals not letting their employees sleep during their break, i find it insane.. it’s YOUR break time you should be allowed to do what you want! 🤯 Plus we’re only a phone call away if there’s an emergency or it’s really busy and the rest of the staff needs back-up!

Justine Feather 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 thank you! Lol we have those Vocera like walkie talkie things and they are so loud you can be woke up by then if need be! It’s probably because I work at a state hospital, everything is very strict!

What an interesting work schedule. I work 12 hr shifts from 1900-0730, and can barely do two shifts in a row. I can definitely empathize on being on the last shift of the week and treating myself to some coffee. :p

You get a break for an hour?!?! I work a 12 hour night shift and get 30 mins but usually eat at my desk. Lol. Loved the video.

Paige Holden is that what your employer offers you?😮 i would talk to your union lol thats inhumane.. sometimes cause its busy we only get to take 30 minutes but we get compensated for another 45 that we didnt get to take!

Where are the green OR scrubs from? I live in Ontario and for some reason I can’t find any like in that sea foam green colour (that’s what I call it lol Idk)

Erin Ashley a friend gave them to me from a hospital she used to work at! usually you have to steal them from the OR at your hospital😂

Shaunell Taitt it definitely wasn’t always easy lol i plan on making a whole video talking about how my pregnancy’s been so far! basically sleep a ton during the day and eat a ton at night😂
