This is a great post. I had to combine my meals into TWO full meals ONLY and stop all food consumption at 4 pm. This helps me!!! It's also super wonderfully for cell rebuilding and healing to allow my body time to not digest food for 16 hours. Thank u for tips as usual, Susan!
The best vlog that I’ve heard from you. I’ve tried BLE several times with little success. But this vlog says a few things I haven’t heard before. Thank you.
Wow! These are some really good ideas! My problem isn't so severe, but I can use these ideas. I'm more of an ocd eater where I'll do OK for a while, then the compulsion to eat bad foods comes out of the blue and is super hard to resist. I do really well for a while, so I'll get overconfident and that's when it hits me. Thanks for this video! ❤
Another angle to this...I can relate to this post so well, but my problem was that I would be so good all day, say "NO" to so many foods at work, and then at dinner was completely unsatisfied with a vegetable, protein and fat. This would lead to the crazy eating. So, for me, the green beans and chicken would NOT work. I eat something like a sweet potato with cinnamon on it with my protein which leaves me so satisfied, not feeling deprived, not feeling like I'm suffering, that I am able to eat that and not keep eating, had I restricted myself to the rule of pro/veg/fat.
I'm not part of BLE, but I found the advice in this vlog very inspiring. I'm very good at the "hot shower" breakfast and lunch, but I realized that I am using dinner as a "reward" at the end of the day. I still fantasize about even simple food, but maybe if I ate the same pre-prepped food, especially dinner, every night for 2 weeks, the dinner-obsession would quiet down.
OMG, I had to laugh at this vlog, not because it was funny but because I related so much. I eat a boring dinner each night because it is safer, and I brush my teeth immediately after. FA helped me more than I care to admit, even though it was intense and strict. I am so appreciative of BLE and STP now and even my sponsors from FA, whom I probably hated at the time. I hope those still in the worst part of this active addiction can make it through. It is possible. I still have a long way to go as well, but it does get easier.
Absolutely excellent advice. Especially the part of having your meals prepared and ready to go… and separating it from the buying, washing and prepping of the food… I really like the idea of eating in a different room than the kitchen also, then you can’t just as easily go back to that fridge… Brushing your teeth is a great idea too.
Concur, this is one of the best vlogs and something I can completely relate to! (I'm fine until I START eating.) Only thing I disagree with...please do not use Listerine/mouthwash! It DESTROYS your oral microbiome and can have major consequences on your brain and body (i.e. nitric oxide depletion) as shown in all the latest research, but b/c of "marketing" for unnecessary mouthwash, the public just isn't educated on the science.
I’m like this with white rice and peanut butter and I probably a few other foods. I solve the problem by letting my wife make, package and freeze the rice into portions. All my food is proportioned and frozen. I never eat peanut butter.
