Awww girl, I'm so sorry to hear about some of the pushy-insensitive comments. Those people are really letting the team down, man. They need to stop, please. Seeing a therapist is always a great idea! Even when life is going seemingly well, therapy is still a great idea. We trust you to share when you feel comfortable to share, but also at the same time You don't have to, people can't expect you to put all your personal stuff on the internet. More especially when you're not ready to. Loved the Lagos vlogs, 😍😍
If one is discerning they would be able to tell that you are going through changes but genuinely it’s not your audience’s business. Hang in there and know that even when you can share, you don’t owe the world details about your private life. Do whatever is necessary to keep you in a good space . I pray God gives you the strength to get through. You’ll be okay ❤
I enjoyed your vlog! This is a prayer I read when I’m feeling overwhelmed🙏🏾Today's prayer: Dear God, Amidst the storm of overthinking, anchor my restless mind. Help me trust in Your plan, release my anxieties, and find peace in Your unchanging truth. Remind me You hold tomorrow, guiding every step. In Jesus' name, amen.
Hi Ifeyinwa, I’ve been following for a while and enjoyed your Lagos content. Regarding sharing updates, I definitely understand that you have limitations and you should absolutely take all the time you need. I don’t think your silence is weird because you are transparent about the fact that you have some things going on and will share when the time is right. In the meantime I hope everything falls into place for you and I hope you settle back into London life as best as you can. We are rooting for you!
Hi Ify. Finally, it's time to return back and I completely understand the feeling of not wanting to leave. Hopefully, the memories of your time in lagos would keep you going for a little bit. Anyone who's been on your channel for long enough would have picked up on some of the changes you are going through, and that should be enough information until you decide whether or not to share anymore. I wish you all the strength you need to get through this and always remember that this too shall pass.
I found your channel in October last year and have been really enjoying seeing you come alive and flourish in Nigeria! Its suits you so beautifully :) You're my favourite channel to watch when I'm doing sunday meal prep LOL. Wishing you the smoothest transition back into London and praying the strength , love and warmth from Lagos keeps you going until you're back there again! xxx
This thing called life is never straight forward. The 'weirdness' you asked about are the twists and turns, ups and downs. You are human, after all. I appreciate that you are transparent about feeling vulnerable with so much noise you are trying to quieten down. I will miss your Naija vlogs. If you need to take a break, do you.
Loved the lagos/Nigeria vlogs. I saved so many Nigerian clothing brands I intend on purchasing from thanks to you. Honestly can't wait to go to Nigeria so I can check all your recommendations. Thanks so much for such quality content! ❤
I started following because of your microlocs and the fact that you lived in London which is a place I once called home. But I must say I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the Lagos vlogs more than ever…from the gorgeous fits, aesthetic lounges and restaurants, and beach days; let’s just say I’m living vicariously though you girl!! Praying for safe travels and that a little of the joy you’ve been experiencing and better days are ahead for you through whatever you’re going through. And lastly, no explanations needed bc we all know life is always doing what it does best, life’n, and we gotta take the joy with the rain and let’s just say you’re doing it quite gracefully!! Peace and blessings to you!!
Therapy is truly a godsend! Even if our hurdles are increased by things beyond our control such as outside stressors, hormones, culture differences, neurodiversities, etc...having trustworthy therapy to turn to is so healthy and healing! ♡
Finally got my locs, all thanks to you😊, love the jumpsuit, you looked lovely. Sending you hugs as your going through your transition, God's got you hun xx
I enjoy your vlogs! They are very lighthearted and carefree. It’s not weird at all to protect yourself and your private matters. Share what you want and keep the rest to yourself. Loveee the jumpsuit 🤎
I want to visit Lagos now! Looks like a TIME! Home is definitely where your heart is and I pray you get to move back sooner than later. Also, don’t let these people make you feel a way about what you share or don’t share. If they have issues how you run your channel, they can keep it moving. Your loyal YT fam is here to stay. ❤
Ifeyinwa I have really enjoyed your Lagos vlogs! I know you and your family are gonna miss each other.💔 I can’t thank you enough for vlogging a bit of your life! Whatever you’re going through, I pray it gets behind you soon! Safe travels (even though you’re probably back in London😂)❤
Hey girlie, I’m not on any other forms of social media, so I wanted to ask here. Are you doing ok? You haven’t posted on here for a couple of weeks, so just wanted to check on you.
I’ll miss the Nigeria blogs. You looked so happy and relaxed whilst there. But please be coming to join us in the cold and rain in London 😂. But don’t worry about needing to share, share what you want when you want. We are always rooting for you over here and wherever you are in the world we will be supporting still. If you do ever want to go back to naija on a perm basis, please do a hangout here for us ldn lot so we can send you off 😂❤😊
Hang in there! I will be praying you have brighter and more peaceful days ahead! I love and admire that you take time to practice self care both mentally and physically! This is so under appreciated. Stay uplifting and blessed. All will work out for good.
I don’t know what it is like to live in an entirely different country than where most of my family lives. I am sure it is something that is on your mind more frequently than you’ve shared on your other vlogs while you were in London. I work with some people that have families in other countries but your vlogs have helped to remind me that you never know what people are going through in their daily lives. I have an old co-worker from Botswana and she has no family in the U.S. I have no idea how that feels for her. I try to keep in touch with her and check on her from time to time. I hope this doesn’t come off in the wrong way it is hard to explain what I am trying to say but I just want to say that I hope you’re doing well and have been and continue to manage that challenge the best way you can. Hugs to you.
I'm sure the Neo cream is great, but get Retin-A from your dermatologist. Much better! Try the .50%, or 1.0%. Alternatively, get your dermatologist's thoughts on tazarotene. I've heard that it's more effective for acne, better tolerated, and has the same anti-aging benefits as Retin-A.
