It was 8 degrees here in Kentucky today. Don't worry, I can't hear the noise from your heater over the noise from my heater. Lol I have been in a kick of reading older books lately, because new releases have been letting me down. Recently, I have been listening to the audio for the Series of Unfortunate Events books while working, and I am still loving them, even all these years later as 32 year old adult. And Tim Curry does the audio, so its fantastic! I also recently read A Kiss Before Dying by Ira Levin and LOVED that as well. Oh, and Nestlings by Nat Cassidy. It was really good.

Tim Curry reading A Series of Unfortunate Events sounds great. For some reason Nestlings has been hard to find in my area. I'm keeping my eye out though.

Havoc has exercise to do. They are both so cute! I love that Fantasy Readers cup! Keep warm, that is much more important. Oh interesting, I wanted to read Butcher and Blackbird after hearing her talk about it, I will have to check it out! That passage was SO BAD....my god. The worst dudes always think they are like God's gift of lovers. I really want to check out 'A Fang to Remember' sounds really cute! I need to read Fences, I love the film version. I've had Midnight in the Graveyard sitting around in my audible library for a while, good to know that it is at least worth reading. Hope you feel better and it warms up soon!

Thanks, Andrew. Havoc loves that treadmill as long as Paige or I am trying to use it haha. As a horror fan, you’ll get a lot of enjoyment out of Butcher and Blackbird. Until Troy and you mentioned it I didn’t realize there is a film adaptation of Fences, so I’ll watch it and you can read it and we’ll compare notes later.

Does each cat gravitate toward a specific bowl or do they sort of switch off? Also, there's a movie version of Fences with Denzel Washington. Haven't seen it, but I've heard good things. And I know it's pretty readily available. Glad you liked the play!

Chaos goes to whichever is fresher or has more in it. Havoc will eat anything he can fit in his mouth. I will be seeking that movie out this weekend. I can’t recall from your original video if you said this was Wilson’s best or just his most well-known.

@@CoffeeCatsandKing I think you could ask 10 people about which of the Century Cycle plays was Wilson's best and get 10 different answers. But Fences was certainly his big breakthrough. There may even be a stage production or two lurking illegally out on RU-vid if you search a bit. 🤔

Man... sorry to hear 1994 was such a dumpster fire. Glad a cozy mystery finally pulled through for you. Reading wise myself, been reading a lot of litRGP when not researching occult nonfiction.

I love fantasy and on the rare occasions I play a game it’s always an RPG, but I have not read any litRPGs yet. What would you suggest? Is there a particular interest you have in the occult or are you just whatever you can find right now?

@@CoffeeCatsandKing Very cool. 1 of my favs is Portal to Nova Roma Kindle Edition by J.R. Mathews (kindle unlimited). A grieving AI leaves earth to a magical 1 in memory of a human he lost. Another 1 is The Fortifier: A LitRPG Adventure by D.K. Landtroop (kindel unlimited). An older man deals with loss of his family during earth's immersion into a RPG system and his adaptation to it. Occult-wise, I'm studying Chomsky's early theory of deep structures and applying it to mystical experiences using personal significant/keywords and how elements from western ceremonial magic/ritual might help with streamlining the process.
