Before I started listening to the Ween Men, I had a small penis, no friends, no girlfriend, depression, and absolutely no life. These things haven't changed, but fuck me, the music is still pretty good.
I don't think anyone looks for Ween. You come across them by accident, or they are thrust upon you without choice. Either way, Ween finds you. If you are worthy.
As you mentioned, I was first introduced to Ween from Beavis and Butthead which was the only reason why I purchased the Pure Guava CD in the first place! Did they suck? Did they have no future? Who Cares! All I know is they were that darn good!😃😃
Words can’t describe how much this song means to me. This was my moms favorite song, and she would play it every morning while making breakfast. She died last year of testicular cancer, and things haven’t been the same since she left. But every time I hear this song, I think about how happy she was every morning singing it in the kitchen. I’ve been struggling with bass recently, but I realized it was because I wasn’t using Deaner’s technique. Now the notes play themselves. Granted, the notes are only the ones in this song, but still a success in my book

Knowing that Trey Parker liked Ween enough to put them on the Chef Aid album, I have a theory that this song (along with "don't laugh I love you") is probably the inspiration for the South Park voices.
I read that the 'cartman' voice-overs are sped up, to make them more high-pitched. That doesnt mean that Ween wasnt an influence for the voice / character, of course.

I remember I use to play this song 🎵 in front of my mother and she’d always use to say oh my god are you still listening to this song. I also has a big crush 😻 on the girl in the video clip. This was the first Ween song I ever heard. I got a copy of Pure Guava and have been hooked ever since. I went on a trip to visit my older cousin who plays drums, and he sat down and played the drum riff from Pumpin 4 the Man. I recognized it immediately, and he was very surprised I knew who they were. Was 16 or so. A quarter century later, they are still my favorite band. I see them live any chance I get.
