Ween playing The Blarney Stone, at the Vic Theater in Chicago 11/9/03 This also includes the ending credits and of course Claude's funny acting at the end.
You can hear my mom scream when they play mutilated lips on the DVD. Both of my parents were huge Ween fans and I remember stumbling on my dads CD of The Pod when I was In 4th grade. It’s been pretty brown ever since.
@@22hogfan94 this is such an old comment, made me realize how long I've been a ween fan. I've seen them live since but unfortunately they didn't play this
I'd have to say, one of the greatest songs of all time. I rank it up there with Happy Birthday, The Star Spangled Banner, ect. Still brings a tear to me eye.
it was a joke. I was trying to (quickly) think of what would be a few of the most iconic songs EVER written, and those were the first 2 I came up with. So I was saying that "most iconic songs, ever - Happy birthday to you, The Star Spangle Banner, The Blarney Stone, ect."...
That time me and my stepdad, who has Irish ancestry, got really stoned together, and I played this for him and he was like "this reminds me of my people!" we were laughing our asses off when Deaner started improvising.
DEAN WEEN + Claypool Delirium "Southbound Pachyderm" = fcking magic. Dean also played with Queens of the Stone Age on Mosquito Song. Because he's so fcking legit.
I saw these guys in Boston supporting "The Mollusk"... wow, what a show! I knew their records some, did not expect them to be an ace live act, but they did two amazing hours straight and then a 30 minute encore finished with a full-on Spanish guitar suite leading into "Buenos Tardes Amigo." Too bad they are all done!
god that is one of the best things ever, that venue, the crowd, dean is a god, the drummer all just holy fucking fuck i hate that i missed these guys. hopefully the new tour is the shit
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT ........is the only thing to say here. I've seen these guys at home here in Australia at the TIVOL in Brisbane and followed them from the beginning. They're my "Life Anthem" band and that will never change. I live for this. Loved them since Pure Guava days and am not one little bit happy about the thought of not seeing them together live again. I hope that does not happen. GO WEEN. You guys truly are something else ( especially when you get out on stage) Thanks for the favour at the Tivoli all those years ago guys......it's hanging pride of place in my lounge and will be treasured forever.
Ween live at their zenith..like a gomer I've seen them live only five fucking times. Five. Times. So pathetic.. but seeing them first on the White Pepper tour... it's alright. I watch this daily after making an offering..Holy shit Deaner is the essence of Rock n roll!!
One of my biggest regrets in life as a chicago native was only being 9 at the time of this concert. Big misplay on my part. Missed possibly the best concert of all time.
It makes me wish I had reached out to my friend who passed away a year ago but not before offering one of her accordion (she said she had several) I'm going to miss her
