Probably just me but he looked a lot like Johnny Knoxville on that stage

Foster the people is far from under rated. Probably one of the only alt rock bands that is mainstreamish today.

It's hard to imagine a bigger compliment to a band than to have other major bands performing your song.

It's because they switched songs. Weezer sang Pumped Up Kicks and FTP sang Say It Ain't So.

What proves the fact that Rivers is an adorable dork is the fact that he has the lyrics right in his hands.

So I was watching this interview of Foster, where he mentioned that.. 10 years before this live cover, he actually met the Weezer frontman at a party and played him an instrumental piece that he was working on (not this song).. they had a great chat and Rivers shared some of his song writing knowledge with foster. Then Foster acknowledged this live cover and said that it was a big moment in his life to have his song performed by Weezer.

this song is so good to begin with but the rock sound that weezer brings to it makes it sound great especially with the guitar solo at the end.

What I absolutely love about this is the fact that it's obviously a cover, but it still has that authentic Weezer sound.

I love upbeat songs with dark lyrics. Also dark music with upbeat lyrics. When it is pulled off it can make a really great combo.
