Hi there Nick Just checking in to add a couple of techniques I use, The small retaining nut on my 97 is fixed in place, by degreasing both surfaces, nut and trigger housing, then key it with a sharp scriber and superglue in place, did this 5 yrs ago and it's never moved despite many rebuilds. This 97 was bought as an R&D gun so been retuned many times. I use a piece of 6mm steel bar with smooth rounded off edges with a piece of leather between it and the end block, snug fit and easier than trying to whack a round punch. I also removed the so called anti bear trap bit of tin rubbish, having no faith in it for the reasons you clearly stated, and if you're out hunting I like to decock whenever I want to. My 97 has been stripped so many times I can undo the end block by hand, On retightening it I use a sportsmatch AB3 arrestor block over the dovetail of the join to keep it aligned, works perfectly, Just my 10 cents worth 😂. I would like a 77k or 97k with open sights and simultaneous working scope mounted also a silencer thread plus synthetic thumb stock and marine grade steel. 🤗
