your videos on tuning are absolutely superb Mate. Ive watched each one at least three times. I would like to say a big thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge. Dave
Hi mate. Can you tell me the technical name of the green plastic you like to use?. Thanks for the vids. They've helped me loads. I'm just about to tune my 99S. I was going to button the piston using 6mm delrin rod but I think I prefer your method of machining the piston both ends.
How do! machining grooves in to the end of the piston for the plastic to sit in is easier than the 3 stud designs. although i think the 3 stud design is better as it has less contact area. ill put up a video soon about the plastic
how its done I prefer your method for longevity and robustness. Sure, three buttons has alot less contact area and will be easier to cock but buttons must wear much quicker too. If you ever get the chance to do a video on how to install a PTFE liner that would be great. I've subscribed to your channel. Keep up the good work.
wear on this plastic is not an issue. it will last for a long long time. you would like video on how to install a ptfe liner on a piston? ok not a problem.
Power without powder ,, dont touch tranny port .big no going back ,, i shorten piston .cylinder .and cocking bar . Cocking lever link . So it goes further back . Get poly spring guide and top hat . Take 15mm off spring guide , piston comes furter back to cock .. and booom . All the power you want .. but cut a few couls off standard spring to keep it legal .. crosman premier 7.9 s amazing
