@@u-verse as a homeless person I totally agree with you. But keep in mind there are some of us that are homeless that do not mess up anything that don't do drugs and I have a very bright future ahead of me because I am trying to get my education so that I can better myself. So that does not apply to all homeless people I'm going to school for acting and directing and an online shop for spiritual products.
IM HOMELESS ALSO NOT A HOMEOWNER. ALSO LIVED IN CARS AS A KID MOTELS ECT . AND ON STREETS LATER YEARS. I UNDERSTAND YOUR RESPONSE. AND HERE FOR YOU . AND ALL. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME

@@hellfest85 if anybody is nosy is you I am one of the people that's moving in that building and for you to call it a waste shows that you are the one that's nosy and have nothing else better to do with your time because you don't know what put someone in a position that they are in today so since you think that people who fall on hard times are ways then I guess that makes you a waste as well obviously because when my God tell me and he don't love me no less than he loves you God does not create waste
Sounds to me like you're a hater let me tell you something I am one of the people that are moving in that building and I do not use drugs nor am I mental health. I just fell on hard times. Now there may be people that move in there let me very well struggle with drug addiction do I think that they should be living there no I do not but that don't speak for all of us
@@RollerBladingSuxsnumber one yeah especially when I have paid so many taxes myself number two ask yourself would it be fair if they did it for you if you were in that position I am a struggling college student not a dope addict loser number 3 sounds to me like you're jealous
@@MarcusWeaver-g6r Sorry, I am not a hater. What I meant is that we have a mental health crisis and just housing people that have mental health issues is not going to help. Since you are someone that just fell on bad times maybe or maybe not due to circumstances of your own (not judging) I wish you the best.
@@craighusted1511 okay sorry I misunderstood but yeah you are right they do need to have more mental health facilities because housing is not going to help a lot of them a lot of them need rehab and mental health. Thank you for wishing me the best though 💙
@@abc123fhdi yep especially when some of us actually deserve it. And keep in mind that there are veterans who are living in that building who have fought for this country that you live in
@@maro6725 will I will be living in that Tower and I am a student at a conservatory for acting in directing embarking on starting a catering business as well. So I am not anor or a goblin. You really should learn to get to know people before you make that type of assumption
YEAH AMENATIES ARE NEEDED JUST NOT NOW . HEY WE GOT MILLIONS WITHOUT HOPE. NEED MORE JOBS. AND GO DOWN ON PRICES ON EVERYTHING. . JUST NOT ENOUGH FOR THAT MUCH MONEY
$2bil. Project, $600k per unit to built,😅 and the most importantly its all from hard working people tax money😂 History must remember every single people who involved🎉
We can all hope this helps some of those lucky enough to get a space in that building to get on their feet and take their lives to the next level🙏 Hopefully they can heal and become happier human beings. We ALL should hope for our communities to improve! Even if we disagree about how the city is going about it.
I was homeless I slept on the street and I was in Job Corps my mom died when I was a teenager I didn't do drugs I kept my faith in God and I got off the street
@@jajack9537 I feel you on that I am a homeless person right now as we speak I don't do drugs I don't drink I am in school and I am a very neat person. As well as spiritual. And I deserve to be there
Allot of unemphatic people in these comments. Its sad that we are so unkind to less fortunate people. Future generations will look at us as savages for not doing our part to help. Imagine your great grand daughter looking you up online only to find out you were cruel to the unhoused. You still have a chance to change your legacy. Be Kind.
@@MarcusWeaver-g6r I don’t need to live there and I can’t think of anything worse than being stuck in a high rise building in LA with homeless drug users.
@@MarcusWeaver-g6r I didn’t say I wouldn’t do it if I HAD TOO…. I said it wouldn’t be something I would want to do…… I wouldn’t be in LA period…. But I’m not you or them. I just know that if you don’t have proper protocol and proper management that things could get out of control fast….. people in groups don’t always appreciate other people’s boundaries and situations. Public anything is not a good time for me personally.
There is nobody in there it's empty, once they build it and get the funding there is no financial incentive to put people in there. Furthermore those amenities aren't for the residence but for the employees that take up an entire floor. It was never made for the homeless it was made to increase jobs for social workers.
@@parislove616 and as I stated another post I am a homeless person and I have invested in this system as well and so are the veterans that are going to be living there

For that kind of money they could have built many more average apartments that would have helped so many more homeless and low income people. Now less than 300 people will get to live in luxury....paid for by taxpayers who could never afford to live anywhere like that.....and thousands of homeless and low income will still be on the street.
That's it I'm going off grid and be a unhoused person and then become a homelessHOUSED person in a pent house suite and have massive parties with all of my housed homeless friends!!
Los Angeles Mayer's best Idea?... Wow!! City pay $600,000 for Each Homeless????? Yeah right.. We living in the Golden State.. Homeless Golden State. !! Building builders just dig to discover large gold without a shovel !!
