Today was a Very Weird type of Day in the Record Store. We did do a Record Review but we are having a Super Sale in the Store. It's 25% off the Entire Store, excluding Electronic, until the end of July! Also the box of Vinyl Records turned out to be kinda Weird as well...

Favorite record in the box was O.C. Smith Hickory Hollow Revisited. I grew up listening to this album. It was my mother’s favorite She passed in 2003 . Ten years ago on the Friday before Mother’s Day I came across a thrift shop in Sunnyside Queens that sold used records I looked up and there it was and when my Dad passed last year I found my Mom’s original copy when I was clearing up his house. It is a beautiful R & B/ Soul record from the late 1960’s. Della Reese wrote some lovely words on the back of the record jacket. A true gem of a record.

LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF TONIGHT`S SUPER FUN VIDEO, MY PICK FROM THE BOX IS "WALKABOUT" BY THE FIXX!!! IT`S MY THIRD FAVE ABUM FROM THEM... THIS ONE INCLUDES THE HUGE MTV FAVE 'SECRET SEPARATION', I STILL HAVE IT ON CASSETTE!!! AND NOW FOR THE POLL... Now I have a story for you guys! That "Fushere" album in that box, he was a local artist here in Virginia Beach and I worked at a Rose's Dept store with his mother Betsy Fushere back in 1985 to 1991! Now isn't that a fun fact?!
