Heart Gold and Soul Silver glitches! There aren't too many glitches in these games compared to older Pokemon games, but there's still some neat ones to go over! Heart Gold and Soul Silver are one of my favorite games on the Nintendo DS so this was fun to make!

Not a glitch, but if you play a pirated copy when you enter a battle the pokeball indicator that shows how many pokemon both you and the enemy trainer have will just spin forever and won't let you play the game.

I've always been a fan of the void glitch, but never dared to attempt it when it was first discovered as I couldn't afford a 2nd copy of pearl then and didn't want to risk corrupting my file.

That grass glitch on Route 44 was actually a common error for ROM hackers to make back in the day. I messed it up several times in early maps I made and I found it many times when bug testing for other people. It's a super easy mistake to make and I'm not surprised at all that it slipped into the final game.

For the façade glitch, may I recommend Mewtwo? It's only attacking move is Psycho Cut, so any dark-type will work fine.

For the Façade glitch, Mewtwto only has Psycho Cut as an attacking move so if you were to use a dark type, you could use Façade indefinitely as Mewtwo also has Recover. Only issue is that Mewtwo has Pressure halving your PP

Gamefreak recently renewed their trademark for HGSS thus the rumors for a Lets GO Johto for the Switch is all over the internet. If it turns out to be true, I will skip it just as I skipped LGPE.

I got a really nice one i discovered and didnt find anywhere else online. I discovered it because i wanted to skip the legendary encounter before the Pokemon League.( for later shiny hunting with rng manipulation) The problem is that you can't surf east cause an npc stops you from doing so. So you go to Route 29 to the secment where you can do tweeking to load one area into another (like in some of the speedrun videos) i don't remember which i loaded to the right but i was able to skip the npc that stopped me from entering east to the League. Later i wanted to catch my legendary Pokemon and (i think cause i beat the league the "beaten" legendary respawned) there already was one legendary and after the ritual and spawn animation there was two of them.( tested on both lugia and ho-oh) Have a nice day :)

Actually heartgold is comparable with battle revolution. As I’ve connected the two the special poke balls don’t sport though.

For the Facade glitch, try it out on a Dark-Type Pokémon against a Slowbro in Seafoam Islands, preferably around Lv. 40-45. Slowbros typically at that level know the moves Zen Headbutt (which doesn’t hurt Dark-Types), Slack Off (so Slowbro can heal itself), Water Pulse (which damage from won’t be much of a problem if you’ve got plenty of Hyper Potions), and Withdraw (to make your attacks do way less damage to Slowbro).

My favorite is the mimic double battle rage glitch, where it copies the one with the move rage entire moveset over to other Pokemon with mimic. I used a Feraligatr and Charmander, so I had a Charizard with Hydro Cannon to battle my friends for fun.

I love you’re videos. Gets me thru depressing times. Brings me back to my childhood. Coming home from elementary playing every Pokémon game that came out for years. Playing it w my uncle who is now gone. I’d capture legendary Pokémon for kids at school for 5$ & use it to pay for my school lunches. I got in big big trouble by teachers for doing that. I think I might’ve actually got suspended lololol.

Remember once my ditto got stuck looking like a Tauros, it happened like 10 years ago, so I don’t really know how to replicate it, I just remember kid me was really frustrated.

There is a glitch in DPPL where if you encounter two shiny Pokémon at the same time while you have someone following you through an area, the game fails to load properly and will crash. Edit: IDK if it is even possible in HGSS as they are the only pre Switch games I've never owned. (Unfortunately)

I went to the route before violet city found a bellsprout, there with my mareep, fainted the bellsprout and then my mareep and i became missingno tried to check my other pokemon then screen blacked out

0:46 i've heard likes dont rlly matter with algorithm and such, but watchtime does. Maybe stimulate them to share the video, or show some of your many other videos so they watch for longer, and the algorithm loves you

Watch time matters a lot of course, but so do likes and comments. I have pretty good watch time and retention but pretty low likes which is why I started mentioning likes at the start of my videos mroe often

Late reply but it means you have a fake, 90% of fakes don’t have voltorb flip and will always crash , both in saffron(or celadon I can’t remember witch town) and goldenrod , witch sucks
