I kinda love how the Pokemon Kraft Dinner chose to have Poliwhirl and as a result didn't have a good shot from the show to use in the commercial at the time. Also, I can't believe you forgot to mention the best part about the Heinz Pokemon pasta: It had different shapes depending on whether you bought the red can or the blue one, and the underside of each label had a picture of a different Pokemon to collect.

one of the best memories I had as a kid was getting one of those pokemon cereal top toys and then showing it off and playing against all the other kids on the block, imagining we were having a pokemon battle royale, pokemania was rlly a time to be a kid

OMG... that picture of the Pokémon binder in the Wonderball section of the video made me remember that I had one of those for my cards! Totally forgot it existed and that I had one!
I remember the 2nd gen Pokémon cereal, since that was around the time I was getting into Pokémon - right as the "pokemania" ended. It was about as good as any other Lucky Charms ripoff. I don't remember if it cut up my mouth like some cereals do. Not bad, but more memorable for the box with all the mons on it. Pretty sure you could cut out your own ripoff pogs from the back, too. My mom bought us enough boxes of the Pokemon Eggo waffles to send in the box tops for a Pikachu syrup pitcher. It was a dinky plastic thing, but it lasted YEARS! Pretty sure we had that up until I moved out for college.
My country bans entertainment brands from crossing over with food brands unless the food meets some obscure health quota. I think the logic behind it is that if you slap a mascot on some unhealthy food, a lot of kids will buy it so that's why it's banned. So sadly we didn't get any Pokemon cereal :(

The Wonderball commercial constantly plays on loop in my head. The Pokemon cereal was awesome and I still have my Pichu figure that came with it. Oh yeah that Heinz pasta was delicious and I loved going to the grocery store to buy them!
I was born the same year Pokemon was first released in Japan, 1996, so I don’t really remember these things as I was pretty young at the time. I remember there being Pokemon themed waffles, but don’t remember the commercial. The commercial I do remember though was the traumatizing Heinz commercial. Thanks for the PTSD flash backs Brandon. I’ll be having nightmares of running away from a giant fork tonight
