oh he will once he finds out hes internet famous. Imo people are so self absorbed they dont ever consider what their actions look like from a 3rd party. Once they do, they go straight to "im so sorry, please forgive me" etc. Nowadays people live in echo chambers so they are never challenged on any of their ideas no matter how awful they are. This all carries over to stuff like this.
Been in public gyms for several years at this point and this is insane. The extent of my interactions with anybody there is like “hey man, many more sets you got? Cool, thanks.” Or maybe “can i get a spot?”. This guy has huge recently divorced energy
Divorced bc his wife cheated on him with a younger guy like this. It seemed too personal. This young man triggered him bc he may have looked like someone who ruined that marriage.
when i'm at the gym i'm there to bust out some high intensity cardio and lifting then get out. i assume everyone else is the same so i don't really interact unless someone left their phone/water at a station.
After watching this, I'm now convinced that time traveling is possible-this is scientific evidence. Also--just going to shamelessly plug here--I'm hoping some of you might like the music I make too :)

@@christking85Ah, you've never seen people like this in comments before? They're just bots or dumb children who want imaginary internet points so they can feel good about themselves. Their parents ain't buying them a camera, let alone a professional one.
It's mainly the fact that he looks like he only has 3 years in the gym. Charlie is very short and he would be huge if he ate and trained for hypertrophy. I get that it's not his style but when a lifter who knows anything about anything hears that he's been in the gym for 10 years is physique looks very unimpressive.
Charlie made a really good point. I do believe the guy was upset he was remotely attracted to the guy's body, which made perfect sense to why he even used the F slur to begin with because that's textbook slur used when in denial. Because otherwise, WHY IS HE SO MAD LMAO
Right like the only reason he would have this reaction is if he’s upset that he’s attracted to him… if he was just a far right leaning straight dude he’d mind his own business, maybe silently judge. It’s like he’s got something to prove to himself, it’s sooo awkward
And also the fact that some people here in comments get upset only bc a lot of others suspect that this harassing guy is probably gay tells a lot too 😂
I respect the shirtless guy for knowing it’s not worth it to escalate the situation further and choosing to ignore him after he got in his face. Getting in a fight over a guy working out shirtless is one of the dumbest reasons for a fight to happen
If you don't fight back, these worms will continue to harass you. He should've smashed his phone. Even if he lost the physical fight, atleast the guy's phone would smashed, and he'd be wary of doing this again because losing your phone is not a pleasant experience.
@@jocampe62 after he had already been called a *ahem* baguette. Like, our protagonist here didn't really clap back with too much of a response. The antagonist was just looking for literally any reason to get into a fight. Probably one of those situations where he had some shit happen and was frustrated about it, so when he saw a guy smaller than him (easy to see because of how homie's shirt was off) it was an easy target on a silver platter. I will at least say this: that guy must have lived a real kushy spoiled life with no consequences to be throwin baguette around so quickly. people have died for less.
Charlie, you're one of the VERY few youtube channels I can binge without getting bored. The humor always makes me crack, the topics are always interesting. Love it.
i got into an argument at LA fitness with an older man bc he decided to come into the sauna completely naked, no towel or anything and stood up instead of sitting down. I don’t understand why old guys feel the need to be butt naked in the gym as often as possible.
Fun fact, in Germany, clothes are strictly forbidden in the sauna, which are mixed gender by the way. One of the best things about German culture is normalising nudity at least in some spaces. I'm no nudist, I'm all for wearing clothes even when I'm home alone, but it just makes me sad that our own bodies are somehow deemed offensive and traumatizing to others. It's just how we were born for fucks sake.
Your psychological analysis explanation is fucking spot on and I’m so glad that you were able to see that. He’s in the closet and he saw something that gave him confusing feelings. Even projecting by calling him the f slur 🤣
It baffles my mind that people still try to pull off this type of behavior in this day and age. You NEVER know who you are truly messing with. That guy is gonna try that with the wrong person one day and he's gonna learn for sure
Yeah i do maui thai 4x a week and sometimes i get frustrated because of how little sparring ive done lately. I cant imagine being starved of sparring and someone squaring up to me like this. I would legit forget the beef and just be excited i can fight someone easier to hit than amateur kickboxers lol.
I think I've been through that guy's response before when I was 8 years old and had poor emotional control. He knows he's wrong, he's embarrassed he's wrong, and he's too far entrenched that backing down will be admitting he's wrong. It's kind of tantrum-like behavior.
This annoying trend is very motivating for beginners in gyms for sure! I definitely want to start working out when I feel paranoid every second because of people filming everything
@RE-fb4pw this happened at the last gym I attended once or twice and I just moved out of the way to not get involved. Thankfully most times it's not hard to do
People are getting way too comfortable just provoking each other. You never know who’s one bad day away from snapping like a kit kat bar and turning you into a memory.
This ultimately proves that Charlie is the pinnacle of athleticism, with his rock hard abs, muscles popping out left and right, and a freakishly 58 inch vertical, with a 9.34 100m run.
From working with different types of adults, I’ve learned that some ppl instigate just to make a human connection or force a conversation onto ppl; it’s very annoying when u realize it
The guy freaking out over another man being shirtless has some monster insecurities. Someone needs to get him some help or check him into a clinic ASAP.
@@dixonb.tweenerlegs4225he could have just started his first cycle, but either way that doesn't excuse his behavior. I've had friends who had roid rage and they never did anything this stupid or embarrassing. They just argued with their GFs a lot 🤣
There's no way he was that angry for just seeing a shirtless man. He probably dealing with something else in his personal life, and decided to vent and bully a young dude.
Yeah he prob hated seeing the man shirtless because he believed he was straight and he got mad that he saw something that made him feel a type of way and made him question his sexuality and felt insecure
Yeah, don't know why he got so upset. If I saw a shirtless dude in the gym, I'd probably just look up, think to myself "that's weird" and then go right back to doing whatever I was doing.
Ironic when you put it that way 💀personal gyms really are the way to go tho, once you own weight equipment you never need to buy new equipment, I think it's a great investment
@robocu4 I'm a big fan of public equipment, gotta save space somehow, particularly in apartment complexes. Gyms need to eliminate cameras more often, I've seen one gym do that and the people there looked genuinely happy to be there.
This is an example of why going to a counselor/therapist is a good idea for everyone. It's important to be both mentally strong and stable and physically strong and stable. That behavior of the guy who started filming the shirtless guy is very odd and potentially harmful to both himself and others around him.
I’ve had the weirdest interactions at gyms where random dudes get so mad for no reason. Had a guy a couple weeks ago get mad that I was wearing a shirt in the sauna, gets mad because he thinks I’m giving him attitude says he’s going to get the manager then disappears. Other weird interactions is from angry weirdos taking testo boosters.
Wearing a shirt in the sauna IS heavily frowned upon. Thats like that chinese dude in a restaurant in Italy getting his chopsticks taken away and being taught how to use a fork. Muricans and chinese are too used to put their own individuality or culture in case of the chinese over traditions and societal norms and act surprised when people are not having it.
I think its overcompensating. He felt like h had to be overly aggresive because assumed a guy that looks way better than him would be aggresive so he started off on 10. Dude didnt feed his energy back so he looked like a man baby and that pissed him off more.
I got a great job at this high end hotel. The GM let’s me use the hotel gym whenever I want. It’s a big step above most hotel gyms with everything one needs to lift well. Not to mention its almost always empty! After leaving my over crowded and shitty gym to this amazing empty hotel gym my workouts have been so much better and I’m actually excited to go do them
During covid all the gyms where closed over here, so my boss pretty much build a private one for people at work and their families. I'm so glad he did because I feel like the public gyms keep getting more stupid each day
I dont know where you guys live but I havent seen anybody take their damn shirt off in a gym, ever. At least not during day time when people were there.

The old gym i used to go to with my dad had a few private rooms for those with anxiety and even had a work out room only for woman. The one i used had a tv up in there with netflix and if you kept the lights dim you couldnt see thru the window. or by just working out because if you go to the gym to work out and not just stare at dudes youre secretly attracted to but suppress you wouldn’t have this problem. like what?
I can tell from the pain in his face that he's at odds with himself over something. Its so strange how humans just treat others like this when they're unwell, instead of like, talking to people.
@@Spraytaint yeah, of course I'm not gonna walk up to some random guy in the middle of his workout. But surely there's nothing wrong talking to a dude who is clearly nervous and new?

Don't worry bro this stuff really does not ever happen. Gym goers are typically some of the nicest and most respectful people I've been around. Don't let terminally online doomers who haven't touched grass influence your decisions
Hell yeah, that's great to hear. Don't even worry about meltdowns from unhinged guys like these, a large majority of gym-goers are well-adjusted people just getting into shape or building some muscle, much more inclined to support you than harass you. Keep it up!
I’ve been working out for years and never encountered anyone rude like this. Just follow proper etiquette (which is very easy) and do your thing. And when you go consistently, people will recognize you and you’ll make some gym friends.
As someone who has been in the closet for years, I think Charlie is spot on with this one. I think he was recording him to jerk off to later but got caught and tried to play it off like he's angry. He was smiling and biting his lips every time he spoke. I honestly think he would have loved to wrestle around with him until the gym staff broke up the fight. Creepy, I know, but being in the closet can drive some people insane.
I’m so glad to hear you say this about people recording every little negative thing they see! It is INSANE the way people interact now with sticking cameras in each other’s faces, it’s quite sad and weird.
I guess I'm just old lol 44 and if someone comes up sticking their phone in my face I'm ready to fight already. What ever happened to respect, and people's personal space?
@@groowanderer I agree completely, & what about privacy? I don’t care if I’m in public, I shouldn’t be put on display on someone’s social media if i don’t want to be. That being said, there are exceptions - like if someone’s behavior is so egregious and this is the only recourse you have or if they’re breaking the law, like I said there are sometimes exceptions but most of the crap we see on the internet is just exploitation for clicks and views
Right?? When the guy approached him with that goofy smile trying to rawl him up asking him what will he do, I would have elbowed him to the shadow realm. Obviously fighting his own sexuality in his head when he saw another man with a shirt off.
Probably also knew if he let his temper get out of control he would’ve gotten kicked out of the gym. Even though I’m a gym rat I’m assuming that’s what happens if you are involved in a fight?
@@actuallybuzzWhile I would have loved to see him get clocked, the sad truth is these guys rarely actually reflect on their actions after getting a beatdown in a situation like this. He’ll just harbor resentment at the kid he was bullying and make himself out to be a victim.
