People in Macon be like "where you standing right now, i seen 12 people get shot right there.. i'd move over if i was you bro" (you move over 2 feet) reply "people done got shot there too"
Brothers will take pride in their clothes , cars and jewelry but won't give a dam about the way his family or community looks ...These men being interviewed said nothing about their families ..
What if their family turned their backs on the boys. Even fucked them over. What if they did everything to get what they had alone? They didn't say anything bad or good about family.
@@dakotac9547 These aren't boys these are grown men ....I'm quite sure they got some family or children somewhere that they should be focusing on ...Homies and homeboys don't last forever ...Where's the OG's from that same block they're standing on from the 1960's , 70's ,80's and 90's at ? ...They're all dead or in prison ...
I love my city but I had to leave too! I wanted better. I ran the streets but I was smart enough to get out, it's not for everyone. Plus I love my freedom and experiencing life!
@@cs77smith67 tbh bruh years ago I started driving trucks and see different places. The road changed my mindset, so I started getting to the point where I didn't want to comeback. Even now, I rarely want to visit family. Then I took a chance and moved to different states and cities. I just didn't look back bruh. I say experience different things, have fun and I doubt you'll want to go back.
@@twinkie1773 I can relate to your story. I was trapped in the hood in San Antonio, TX. I joined the Army, and saw a whole new world. I lost my mental shackles and went back to school after being kicked out in the 7th grade. Now I go back and tell my story.
I get tired of ignorance coming in shades of black. Y'all making us look uneducated, animalistic, fools. Don't glorify our poverty and ignorance, improve our community. 🤦🏿♂️
@@5kdaking334 Life is a school. And studying is Free. All chemist, didn't go to college. But there are chemist on the block. Scientist pushing that rock. So why not flip that into self made knowledge. Every leader don't have a collage degree. But the struggle and injustice called them. No excuses. The info is out here now
I would like to study the skin of his right hand palm and the skin of his left hand knuckles. All that self inflicting fisting must produce a bunch of calluses.
I used to live here, and have a lot of family that still lives here, mainly in Bloomfield. But I pray that things get better for this community one day.

@@wkb8326 I think that was his joke haha considering 99.99% of these guys never make it big. Statistically speaking, that is a sad fact. So you’d think they would utilize that time and energy towards something more productive to society. Something that actually has a high likelihood of providing them with a successful career with a steady legal income with benefits.
@@jt2861 The record companies expect every album to be bigger and sell more than the last album. For most rappers their hour of fame doesn't last long because the record companies are always looking for the next big thing. Only the real talented ones can make it in the business long term provided they don't let success go to their heads or get caught up in the drugs....or get shot.
Damn right bra with the white jordan hat I'm born and raised in Miami Dade County for life I see they was bumping that ugk rip pimp c 🙏 and rip to the dude on the wall you can tell he was respected 🙏
As far as the gang 💩, he gotta be talking about nowadays because it was plenty gang violence in the 90s and early 2000s. Like he said West Macon is majority Crip, South Macon majority Blood and he didn't mention East Macon which is majority GD. Back in the day GD and Crip were cool and called themselves "Cousins" and used to bang on Bloods.
@@2easy4gaming12 North Macon is the only majority white side of Macon. It never had any established black hoods. I think it may be a few somewhat sketchy apartment complexes on the northside these days though.
I feel in love with Macon the second I touched down, it may be poor it may move slow but the people got a lot of heart and everyone real down to earth and humble in the best way. You may see the dirt and you may hear about violence but what you saw was brothers with a whole lot of respect for their elders and neighbors and that is the truth
Can they string together a sentence without cussing especially dude in blue. And I hope the n word goes away soon. Self respect can start with the words we use to describe ourselves. Is gang banging all they know? Always why we always living among filth? See all the trash? If you Have pride where you live, show it..What else is going on other than banging and rapping?
Anybody gang member from Cali will tell you that Macon is like Compton jr.lot of California gang members go to back and forth to Macon. Mainly crips and it’s been like that since the early nineties. Macon had gangs before Atlanta
Cuzz (Head) frfr I remember when we were young I'm Westside bred to the heart but I'm on the Southside I came and adapted to it I love my city my but I need to expand
I hope they know when they start remodeling that mall and putting all that money into it they gone push all hood out. College already trying buying land on the Westside.
There's a church on every corner in these neighborhoods and these neighborhoods are still disasters ...Religion is overrated because at the end of the day these people are waiting on white people to come and save them ..
They never know what level your intellect is on they just judge what part they wanna acknowledge. All they caught was the violence because that's what they wanna speak on not knowing what the interview was all about . Its crazy how ppl place themselves above others in the same sentence they talking about equality , and uplifting , and being something greater , not knowing what powers these dudes hold . But may God bless us all ..... Amen
It feel like in Georgia everybody at one point or another finds themselves living in Atlanta for whatever reason then they end up moving back to their hometowns and stuff like Macon, Savannah, Brunswick, Columbus, Albany, Augusta. Most mid to smaller sized cities in Georgia have more dangerous and run down hoods than most places in America.
If you look for stupidity and ignorance it can be found anywhere in the world why don't you try showing the positive things about cities and town. Stop looking for misfit and criminals to represent beautiful cities. Macon is a beautiful large city with many hard-working positive people making a change trying to stop criminal activities. Try focusing on the positive and stop making the world spread darkness.
Ha this is where map quest took me about 10 years ago straight to a dead end. My white ass did a U turn like I was secret service driving the president out of there!
God Bless my hometown got lot's of friends in those very neighborhoods older friends 🙏 thus seems normal back there though can always keep faith and hope
I’m glad and thankful for my middle class lifestyle and education….just don’t understand why acting like this so cool…gives younger generations no direction to being successful….if there are jobs …don’t think they will pass the interview. Not saying I’m perfect but how is the schools there ??? Young man in purple is destroying himself just by language..don’t see him passing an interview.
I live in Macon. I'd like to meet this dude. I'm a white dude but grew up around a majority of brown folks and always felt safe around my brown friends simply because loyalty within the culture is unmatched regardless of the cultures negatives... Much love.
…. The cultural “negatives” where caused more than likely by your ancestors or the ancestors of people similar to you… if you’re ancestors mirrored the black and brown experience I’m sure those “cultural negatives” would surely mirror you as well
@@sachabacha101 You putting negatives in quotation like thats not true. Regardless of HOW it came to be, its still negative and we carry on with it. The passive aggressiveness in your comment really wasnt needed here.
@@rachel.shakira exactly. how about some accountability. cause niggas like being gangbangers for the fun of it. it aint "o well thats all they know" or "well thats the white mans fault"
