I love that you’re a Husqvarna brand ambassador! I learned to sew on a Viking in school home ec way back when and my mom had a husqvarna for years and years that she finally gave to me when I had kids. Lost that machine in a house fire, so I replaced it with a Husqvarna Opal 690q and since being home with the pandemic I am sewing up a storm! Thanks for showing us your beautiful sewing room!
Hello Brittany! Your video just popped up for me today for the first time, and I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed this video. You have the most beautiful and welcoming smile, it drew me right in! I moved into a new home last summer, and I’m still setting up my sewing rooms. (Yes, I’m retired, so I get more sewing space than you young things. Lol). I have set up a Home Haberdashery and an Embroidery Room, but I’m still working out of boxes with just minimal furniture, I loved seeing how you managed to even make room for decorations in your sewing room, but most of all I love seeing how you’ve organized and what furniture and storage solutions you’re using. I am now subscribed and looking forward to many more visits in your sewing room.
@@brittanyjjonestv wondering if you can answer. Does Viking have a specific bobbin for their brand or can I buy a bobbin off the shelf as it were? I know I will be wanting/needing more.
Vicky Carswell hey. I believe they do. From the machines I have, they either have green or blue bobbins. They also have an “H” on them. I haven’t tried to use anything else.
Love your sewing room what you all the time I can't sew but it don't stop me from enjoying someone who can I have a machine one day I'll be brave enough to start trying but in the meantime I'm going to be watching you thank you so much and be blessed
Brittany, what a great video. You are so organized, some day I will take a trip to IKEA. I was wondering if you had a stash of fabric, or what I prefer to call my collection! I love the cabinet/drawers where you store your patterns, great organization. I am always looking for ideas to store and organize items. Thank you for sharing 😊
Very organized wonderful area, your laundry room is to die for all that room WOW!! mine is basically in the hallway from the garage entrance. At least it' s on the main floor.
New subscriber, got my first sewing machine. Haven’t used one since home economics in high school. Your spaces are bright and beautiful. Love your completed outfits you have displayed. Thank you for sharing!
I love your sewing rooms! So organised. Ikea should give you shares in the company. I always admire what you have made and could only dream of becoming so accomplished.
I have to say if I was ever offered a second machine, I would get another serger. One would always have grey thread in it and the other would be for colored thread. Love the room...new subscriber.
First off, You were a sweet break away from Coronavirus news. I Truly enjoyed the sewing room(s) tour! Your pattern stash is like mine- now I have some good ideas on how to store them (Yay). So glad to see someone else who uses more than one room in the house to work and store all those sewing goodies! Thank you so much!
Your sewing room is so organized. It must be nice to know where everything is so you can get your hands on it right away. I didn’t realize how much equipment is needed to put a video out on RU-vid. I take my hat off to you for all your hard work. You’ve inspired me too straighten up my craft room.
What a beautiful, and very organized, "work" space. It's hard to call it work when you clearly enjoy what you do! Thank you for sharing! I have no idea how I got to your channel, but I'm glad I did!
Wow! What a set up you have. I was thrilled about how you utilized your kitchen space before; have watched that video many times as it inspired me because of how smart it was & because of how you expressed your gratefulness for it. You really have top of the line now. So organized, so clean & colorful. And those machines 💖💕 WOW!!!
Loved your sewing spaces! You are definitely the IKEA furnishing queen! Will have to check out your other sewing videos, I basically make quilts and other small items but need to be inspired to do clothes.
Brittany, you’re so cheerful and inspiring. I have the Original Epic and also bought the Pfaff Performance Icon just to get Pfaff’s IDT. Now the Epic 2 has it! I could have had it all in one machine! Oh, well, I love them both. Thanks for the tour. I have a nice big sewing room in the house we currently live in, but now my husband wants to downsize. I don’t want to give up that big room, but I guess I’ll have to
Brittany - I stumbled upon your video today June 4th 2020. Your tour is absolutely wonderful and you do a great job describing how you created it and what you used. Your voice is so cheerful. Thank you for this.
You are amazing! I love your space and your energy. I don't do any garment sewing mostly small projects handbags ect. I purchased the Husqvarna Viking topaz 50 two years ago and absolutely love it. Keep up the great work all the best to you.
Hi Brittany. I’m curios about your big blue machine. What is the biggest size design it embroiders, and what do you usually embroider with it? You have a very nice set up. I would like to have my cutting and patterns together but separate from my sewing space. I don’t mean to sound ungrateful. The sewing room I have now is a great room. I’ve only had one that was better. I used to have a sewing business but due to health problems I don’t sew very much any more. I’m trying to get back to it. I’m still believing God for a miracle. I’ve seen a lot of them in my life so I know it’s possible. Love your sweet and happy disposition. Blessings to you, Elizabeth
You don't sound ungrateful at all. I loved my space before this one and was grateful for it, but wanted a door! As far as my machine, I don't know exact dimensions of the biggest design I can make but, my largest hoop is a 360x260 so I can embroidery a design that fits into that size hoop. I've added designs to tops, bags, made cuffs and other things with it. I have embroidery videos for it, if you want to check them out!
I have a serious case of envy. You have arranged and decorated your room so beautifully, and you are so organised! My sewing room is such a mess... although it doesn't help that my daughter's piano and drum kit are in there fighting me for space...
Brittany, Love your sewing room. It is so NEAT AND CLEAN. YOU R SO ORGANIZE. I WILL BE SO GLAD WHEN I CAN JOIN YOU ALL, WILL BE SOON. YOU ARE SUCH A FUN PERSON AND I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS. You might want to rethink hard about selling or giving away your patterns. It never fail, you will want them later. I am a pack rat, and enjoys EVERYTHING related to sewing, that is my peace of mind in my older age. It is 2:50am and I am going to look at some sewing stuff shortcuts in a book. You are a great seamtress. YOUR SEWING ROOM IS GREAT!
I adore your sewing room and all of your storage. And you have mannequins! Oh Wow! Even you pattern storage and all your sewing machines 😄. Top Notch!💗🧡🤍💙 the heart colors match your machines 😁
Thank you for showing us your happy space 😁 mine is nice too, I have a Brother Innov’is 955. I have an embroidery unit which I can attach when needed, but it’s not as fancy as your beautiful big blue 💙 or rainbow 🌈 . I also have Bernidette 4 thread locker. She’s is 20 years old and still going strong 💪🏽 my patterns are all in a magazine form. Here in the Netherlands we are accustomed to use those. It’s something like the Burda magazine, with a lot of patterns every month in 10 or 12 sizes. 🤩 💃🏻
Brittany, such neat rooms! I have 2 teenaged grandchildren living with me and I have just had spinal fusion surgery. My house looks horrible! I enjoyed seeing such a neat and organized space (s). I will be overjoyed when I can get my house in order once more! Great video.
Hi Brittany, happy for you, thanks for sharing your sewing rooms, your sewing machines are great, my dream one day is to have a space for my sewing. God bless
I love the new room. I also use a canon. I also like the idea of using the old candy container for dull needles pins and rotary cutters. I love the recording set up. I remember asking about the tripod I now own it and I love it. I think my camera is heavy though.
Hi Brittany, I just finished watching your video. I enjoyed it very much. Your sewing spaces are devine . You are so organized. Keep the videos coming. I look forward to enjoying the next one. Many blessings to you and your family. 💕 Ruth Blackwell
I love your videos! I usually do not leave comments. However, I get a lot of ideas from you. You are very inspirational. As long as you have a channel, I will be a subby! Really enjoy the tour. Thanks Brittany!
