I am loving the gods of Amonkhet. The gods of Theros were some of my favorite cards and concepts ever as well. Ty for the lore. I'm loving it.

5 gods representing 5 colors. planeswalkers representing the same colors. wouldn't be surprised if Nicol Bolas set some trap for them. My theory is that maybe the gods themaelves are the traps for the planeswalkers? Oketra traps Gideon with awe. wonder who we shall see next.

Very cool! Love the intrigue this plane has already provided. Looking forward to more from this set!

If the Atlazan spoiled with Amonkhet, hour of devastation booster pack design is correct, then it seems like we might get sort of "to be continued ... " ending in hour of devastation and "Meanwhile ..." in the set after as it does have Ajani in second block of Atlazan as well as what looks like vraska in first block of it. If they are doing "Meanwhile on the other side of multiverse..." (I mean you can't just be like gatewatch defeats nicol bolas, on to save next plane in one block since bolas isn't even appearing on first block. Nor can it be like "shit bad idea go to that plane ajani was going") and Ajani being in second block plus since there are usually 3~4 planeswalkers per block, were going to see vraska(or twin sister) and 2 other planeswalker. one of them is likely to be new character native of Atlazan and other being another planeswalker from Ravnica. Of course this is just speculation and Atlazan would also have to be true but, for those hating on gatewatch, it's is very likely that we will have break from them. Well, ajani's still around but he's new and he's cool.

There seem to be very small hints of Gideon and liliana breaking from the group or at least seeking out things on their own for awhile.

Let's hope the lore for this story doesn't span a week. Like Eldritch Moon did.

Gideon is someone who lost faith and needs something to believe in. Everyone needs something to believe in and hopefully Gideon won't be disappointed.

As fun as it is to see and learn about new planes I really hope the story line doesn't end with "and the day was saved thanks to... the powerpuff....errrmmm.... the gatewatch!" Like someone needs to die or better conflict needs to happen anything besides them winning all the time

i am just gonna say this: This is a Channel mostly about Lore (or was...), then WHY DON'T WE SEE COMMANDER BUILDS made around Lore and Story? Think about this...

wonder if the twin suns are low-key a reference to Tattooine

i bet the story is basicly the same as in the old mirrodin. bolas is in search of other planeswalkers. he tryes to "create" them by death trials to egnite their spark and everybody who dies and is not a planeswalker becomes a mummy....but the thing with the gods i hadn´t figured out yet ;-)

We need Sorin to do something badass. I am getting bored of these Gatewatch planeswalkers. Oh, the times when there was Ugin, Sorin, and Liliana was cool. We need you badass planeswalkers! Like i am talking Garruk, Sorin, Ugin, and Nahiri!

I thought about this what if the trails form amonket is training for a army but the planer bridge from kaladesh was the mean of transport so nico bolas (sorry for spelling errors) and his new army can take over numberous planes

I wonder if the cat god has a massive litter box and if so I feel sorry for the anointed who have to clean it.

this story is soo good

I feel the story is kind of dumb and the gatewatch are less characters and more stereotypes of their colors stumbling around a world until they uncover the "horrible truth". It's so dumb that Gideon's character is like head over heels for what is essentially a tool on the world considering who the plane is supposed to belong to. Idk, I can't connect to any of these "heroes" when they're freakin' stereotypes. As someone who loves getting deeper into stories this feels shallow and predictable. I mean there's something of a nice twist in the next story about the world, but I just can't.
