Hi, about 2-3 years back, I got into mtg. I stuck to videos of people playing the game, and I didn't know much. One day, one of your FNLs came into my recommended section. I clicked on it, instantly liked it, and binge watched every lore video on the channel. A year later, MTG kinda died out with my friends, and I stopped playing. About when Amonkhet came out, I found one of your videos. I have since re-subscribed, and love your content, and am very excited for more FNL. Thanks, Jason (one very happy subscriber)
I love these Friday Night Lores and I missed when they dissapered and when it stopped. I am so glad that you are doing these again, you have to be up there with the Prof in my mind.

Live the fact that this guy helps me to understand some of my edh decks by the lores of who I play. I know some people are gonna say it has nothing to do with built-in edhdecks but it help knowing who your legendary creatures are in the story so thank you so much on the lores and keep them coming
Found this channel today, because im just recently getting into the lore of MTG after years of playing, and stupidly assuming it was just a card game. Its all very well written, and i find this channel to be very good at storytelling.
I am so stoked that Bolas is making a comeback into the lore of MTG world. By far one of my favorite Planeswalkers and I'm so stoked I was right that Samut was going to become a planeswalker as well because of her journey through this story. I honestly hope that they don't defeat Bolas, just because I'm a huge fan of his, however he has been pulling strings and ties throughout the multiverse since the beginning of the MTG lore. Great video and thanks for putting up for us to watch.
I love Bolas. He may be the ultmate evil in MTG but his cunning makes him so awsome. Also the fact that he's sooooo old and still around. His fight with Leshrac in Future Sight alone made me a fanboy. I'm so curios about his next plans *_*
Discovering FNL just a few days ago was an awesome experience. Realizing it hadn't been updated in a while was sad. Seeing it return just after I found out it exists: priceless. I really hope the demon card is good. Looking forward to Hour and looking forward to much more FNL!
And Happy Devastation to you, Seiben. Looking forward to the conflict between Liliana and Razaketh. What's obviously different this time is that she won't be catching the demon lord off-guard like she did with the other two.
The story is getting nuts, I can't wait to see what's next. I'm definitely excited to see Razaketh's card, it sounds like he'll be based around necromancy.
I'm so excited for the new Nico Bolas. I'm new to magic and am working on a Dragon Commander. I made sure I put Nico Bolas in there. He became one of my favorites after hearing his lore on this channel.
I must admit i'm really hyped to see what the next expansion has in store. Amonkhet is the first time in a while I enjoy playing mono black decks. (thanks to Liliana and that sweet zombros synergy)
Lots of biblical references (locusts, red rivers) I was expecting to have a lore based on ancient pagan Egypt, suddenly the writers have turned the table and Amonkhet turned in the Egypt described in the of Old Testament , astonishing and powerful.

The story eludes to more devious plans at work. For one, it states that Bolas willed the second Sun to move, from other planes, another display of his power as well as eluding to the fact that Bolas may have been watching Amonkhet all along. Also, with Razaketh calling Liliana out, one would think that Bolas knew the Gatewatch is there. Honestly, I'm of the opinion that Tezzeret sent them to Amonkhet to bring Liliana under his control. He is the one who pointed Liliana in the direction of the four demons that made the deal with her. And the early part of the story makes mention of how Bolas's plans span centuries. Is it too hard to believe that Bolas saw this coming? I'll be the guy who sides with Bolas. Just made a Nicol Bolas Commander deck in anticipation of the God-Pharaoh's glorious return. All hail the God-Pharaoh! All hail the Endless Serpent! All hail Nicol Bolas!
Oh man, it's about to go down. I can't wait to see how the confrontation goes. It's funny, I'm not a big Gatewatch or Bolas fan (I prefer the old days, when the lore was still in novels - it felt more fleshed out and dimensional), but the Amonket story line has really grabbed me. I feel like we're gonna see a major character die in HOU, maybe even one of the 'Watch.
While I cannot wait to see the God Pharaoh's (may his return come quickly and may we be found worthy) role in the next few stories, I'm very excited to see more from Razaketh! I mean the demon literally pulled a move of Biblical proportions and he's not even the big bad! So hyped for this set!!!
